This forum was about bad media and everyone will have a fav supplier the only prob with the geek was if you did not buy his media well you was buying crap and he is always right hence he has been banned from just about ever forum you will see.
Alexander's fault is he just does not know when to wind it in. and let it go, So you have to respect the Mod's for doing this for him.

hi again
How do i know Dvd and Media are jealous well:
They get quotes from agents in taiwan then go crying to conrexx to get a better price
They do not have the financial power to buy in bulk and therefore slag enet . I have never seen enet slag dvd and media WHY? What does that tell you DVD AND MEDIA ARE JEALOUS
Also naked geek the only thing that is keeping you going is your dole money. Or are you conning the government out of incapacity benefit (your handicapp is your business)
Also if anybody thinks i am talking shit about dvd and media i am willing to release there financial documents on this, which will show how much they buy per month and how they every penny is a prisoner for them
If i am banned for speaking the truth then so be it

Interesting DVDxxcrap,
To draw this matter to a close (unless you want to start on another thread) DVD and Media are not jealous of eNet.
Yes it is true that they ask Conrexx for better prices but who doesn't? They don't whinge after getting Taiwanese agents pricing.
As for slagging off eNet, I think you will find many people slag them off including their own customers. Any company that sells poor quality media or cuts corners will be slagged off. Look at poor NakedGeek!!
Anyway I trust you are a nobody in the industry otherwise you would know the full story of why better prices are requested and what many distributors greivances with Conrexx are.
Again, if you wish to start a seperate debate then please feel free to open a new thread or even better a PM conversation.
I suggest that Nephilims guidelines are adhered to and any slagging off of companies on this thread will lead to a ban.

Dear DVDxxrip and everyone else here,
I am the MD of DVD-and-Media.com, I think most of you already realise that from my signature. I have nothing to hide!
DVDxxrip, who do you think you are? In fact why dont you tell us who you are?. I can assure you there is no way I am jealous of E-Net, I wouldnt want to be selling his products! In fact why are you talking about my company at all if your not jealous of DVD-and-Media and our name, reputation, manufacturer relationships, contacts and website!
There is absolutely no way you have any idea what business I do otherwise you would be advising E-Net to buy my company as I am one of the only websites out there that doesnt sell his stock and has a true trade side and shifts millions of discs a month!
Get a life man... if you want to carry this debate on tell us all who you are publicly and which company you work for (I expect you are some 16 year old paid by Shaf to sit in the corner posting b******t all day long)!!! If not prove it - bet you aint got the bottle sonny!

Hello everyone
This is my first post, just found this thread/forum.
I recently recieved 25 Bulkpaq orange from a well known supplier whcih where advertised as Prodisc S04, but are infact displaying the Fuji 03 media code in Nero and dvd identifier. Some of the discs also have visble damage (white specs) on the surface.Performance wise, they are nowhere near as good as the other Fuji 03's i have (datawrite) and have produced 2 coasters out of the 4 discs I have burned using official firmware (i am now using an unofficial firmware so discs burned with this I am not including in my assessment as I am beta testing and that would be unfair). Would I be right in saying, btw, that Bulkpaq and Datasafe are part of the same company???? Seems to me to be the case that the really bad media is sold under bulkpaq and the not so bad stuff under datawrite. Anybody else think this?
BTW, i dont blame the retailer for selling this media, afterall you get what you pay for!!!!!

yet i know of at least one supplier that states on their website that ridisc is owned by ritek!!!! Obviously the name has been designed to sound like ridata.
Personally i would like to move away from this media, but Ridata/Traxdata, Taiyo Yuden are all to expensive for my pocket (and apart from the bulkpaq mentioned above i've had no problems). Also shipping is very expensive to Northern Ireland at most places. Mr Yang may be getting an order from me (and its would be nice to buy from a NI company for a change) but needs to stock more 8x media.
Why we are on the subject of bad media, Samsung CD-R's have been very disappointing for me. They have a plasmon media code.

Can all you folk not see everytime you agree with a seller it makes this thread drone on who gives a pants who sells what. We are all individual's and we were all blessed with the right to choose. If you choose to pay for goods from a E*Net reseller then good on ya and if you choose to buy from a None E*Net Supplier then again good on ya.
But I think the next time anyone slates E*Net or Mr Yang they should be banned or this Blasted Thread should be closed. As all it has done is slandered different companys and given poeple the chance to do a bit of back stabbing.
Take StinHambo look at this members post's first they back up the naked freek then as soon as he as gone a major case of back peddaling comees in to action.
Which is sad. This forum has a lot of potential but on most forums this thread would have been stopped wihin page 2.
No offence meant Nephilim. Just seams like a lot of wholesaler's trying to big up there own companys.
I am a reseller and who I am means nothing and I started on this thread to see different poeples opinions on different media but no one can stand back and let some of the shear slander carry on which has gone on in hear.
Peace

@ Dave22
1)If one bannes someone this should be the moderator not you.
2) Do put in the same scale Mr Yang and E-Net. Dont try to equal them as its impossible.
3) No-one slated E-Net. They just criticise their products, based on facts and own experiences.
I will remind you the first post on this thread by HomerJ:
"A large batch of B Grade 4x DVD-R Media has been sold into the UK Market via a media distributor in Edinburgh. They are well known for their business practices and previous activities with DVD Media which contained an illegal x2 speed rating code copied fromTDK without permission - these discs are still available under the Datasafe, Bulkpaq and Datawrite branding."
Is he slating anyone by saying that. All of us that have bought these products...know what he means... ;)

This thread still has value considering the ever changing media landscape. New brands pop up all the time and being able to warn others of potential pitfalls is a good thing.
I'll be monitoring this thread so things will be kept clean and on topic from hereon in.

Where did I say I will ban anyone???.
And I would not dream of putting mr Yang and E*et in the same bracket as there is about few million quid difference in it UK side.
All suppliers are cheeky and will buy cheap media and any company will try for max profit that is business, deal with it any supplier who claims different is a liar. And it is not always their fault.
Believe it or not but manufacturers are not whiter than white. It is down to the individual there are poeple who will buy cheap and nasty media and there are poeple who will buy high grade media that's life, but if a wholesaler is sold a dodgy batch and then passes it on as long as they sort it well whats the beef.
If you buy a ford and it breaks down of the forecourt you dont say well all fords are crap do you, or do you????????.

Dave22,
I compared Mr Yang and E-Net in term of business ethics not pounds... Mr Yang sells originals not fakes...
And it is one thing to sell cheap discs, and ANOTHER to sell fakes, or defective ones with bad/unusuable dye surface which will result in someone looses half of the discs he/she bought...This way you manage only to foll people, not to earn their respect.

This thread is about bad media and especially bad media being sold as "A grade", "premium", "high quality", etc.
If a wholesaler "is sold" a dodgy batch and decides to hold on to it instead of returning it, it should label the media properly as "budget", "economy", "sold without warranty" or similar. Same applies to companies that intentionally decide to work with low quality media. If the product is not correctly labelled consumers have all the right to criticise the media and the company when they find out they have been scammed.

That may be, but a series of "your company sucks"/"does not"/"does to" posts don't add anything constructive.

Yada Yada, I'm new here but not new to the DVD scene and certainly not new to the bullshit I've read in this thread! Some of this stuff was hilarious guys, thanks for the best forum thread I've read in a long time :) I've been in and around the emulation scene for 6 years and some of the bullshit there was funny but this! Mind you I suppose here peoples livings are being flamed/blamed rather than just mere back stabbing and when money and reputations are being blasted things can get nasty... anyway I digress, sorry Nephilm admin dude back on topic :) BAD MEDIA!
My experiences over the past few months have been this:
AN31 media - shit, I bought around 200 of these shitty little frisbees and after binning 95% of the first two 25 tubs I binned the lot, not worth the effort. Though I did aquire 8 free tubs! Sorry Naked Geek I'm not trying AN32 after I got bitten on the arse with this garbage - never again.....
PRINCO - shit, as shit as AN31 infact. I bought 25 of these as a test and successfully burnt just 3. Another free tub but not so free as I paid for the bastards :)
RITEK - excellent, both the G04 and G05 I have used have given me superb results the only downside is my burner can only burn -R at 4x so I recently tried some new discs...
PRODISC - excellent, I recently bought a set of 75 of these babies to look for a replacement for G04/05 -R's because my burner can only burn -R at 4x so I got these - Datawrite Yellow 8x DVD+R - for £9.99 per tub *from SVP with whom I have always had good business* and have not had a single coaster yet although I have burnt different discs from different tubs to make sure I've not been given a dodgy batch **cough**AN**cough**PRINCO**cough** you get the picture :)
Anyway my advice for anyone new is to "burn around" try a few different brands and even if it costs you a few quid in the short term you'll gain vital experience and hopefully stop buying AN/PRINCO shite in bulk thinking your saving a few quid!
Happy Burning Dudes....
