Custom theme has nothing to do with it bro. It makes no difference to UPMS. It sounds like you have an IPL issue. Try running FakeCard or the Sony MS Formatter.

yo i dont have a fake memory stick i checked im on 3.80 M33-5 so ill try it again when its compatible. thanks for the help i will definately try it :D

If you are trying to install from 3.80 there is an issue with the IPL. This has been fixed and we are in the testing stages now. Please do not spam us with "when will it be released". We will only release it when we are sure it is ready and not before then. We have come up with a manual work around for this until the next release is available. Please come to our site and forums for to learn how to achieve it.

any news on a id storage regenerater as mines no good my psp is bricked agaian and i cant use pandora it wont work on it ive got the trio also thanks ,ady

Not that I'm aware of sorry bro. Please go to our forums and lookup users tbdawg or hackmimic. These two are the best I know when it comes to manually restoring keys.

I am on 3.80m33-5. Any help making a magic memory stick? I wish i would of known this wouldn't work before i updated. I wouldn't of updated if i knew this.

We have posted a work around for this in our forums HERE
Also we are working on a new UPMS. So keep checking at the forums and site for it's release.

hey i need some help
i have a slim white psp that i want to downgrade from fw 3.71
i have a friends phat psp which has custom fw on it so i used it to make the pandora battery and magic memory stick using the method posted in post #1 of this form.
now my problem is that after i put the magic memory stick into my psp while it is off press the L button(keep on pressin it) and insert the pandora battery then release the l button when the green light of the power light turns on i don't get a menu or anything. the screen just turns into a lighter shade (maybe atempting to turn on?) but then the screen goes black again i also tried holding on the l button for a long time which didn't work and i tried holding the L button till the screen turns lighter but still they don't work
can any help me with this plz asap cause i need to get custom firmware on my psp and my friend wants his psp back
this is my second pandora battery and memory stick that i have tried
(yes i have followed all the instructions to make the stick and battery)i also tried the display button but without luck and i tried doing it with the wlan switch on or off and it still doesn't work
ps: my memory stick is not fake i'm very sure. positive
EDIT: nvm after countless tries i got it

I managed to create pandora's bat and a memory stick using U.P.M.S and it took quite some time to install the files. Now, when i try to boot while holding L trigger my psp's screen stays black and the memory stick and wi-fi indicators flash quickly.
I know I have a fake memory stick. Is this might be the problem?

Same thing happened to me - I suspect the card is fake, mine was. Check that and then re-format using Sony MS formatter and re-install UPMS to stick.
If you have already converted your battery to pandora simply leave step 2 out.
PsP#1 : 2.01>3.71M33-4>3.80 M33-5
PsP#2 (Slim) : 3.80>3.90M33-2 All hail the UPMS Stck

It cannot be formated with the utility. To create the magic MS, does it have to be genuine?

No it doesn't have to be genuine, but fakes do have trouple installing the IPL. A new UPMS in on the way and there is a fix for fakes applied. Stay tuned to our web site and forums for the release. Will be soon just have final tiding up to do.

Well to be honest bro I'm not sure. I have never tried that and don't recall of the top of my head if it has ever been written that it does/doesn't. I don't even know if a Slim Bat will fit in a Phat. LOL I'll tell ya what, I have a neighbor who now has a Slim that I put CFW on for him. I will try later and let you know. I'm busy now but will get to it when I see him later tonight.
