Probably is the new and patched one.
galdy316, you'll need to buy an old battery. You won't be able to go to shops and buy them because Sony didn't let them sell batteries(this is happening in the UK - may happen to your country) so I advise you to buy an old PSP battery. Remember, DON'T BUY BATTERIES FROM EBAY!
You'd probably get a better chance at Amazon, but I'm not guaranteeing anything.

If you read the first post of this thread...

If you don't want to open up your battery, then you can purchase the Datel TOOL battery. The battery is bright red/orange and is in service mode(Pandora). But you still have to use TotalNewbi Easy Installer to create your MagicMS.
Or you could get another battery to try it out.

No...
I mean take the risk as in, take the risk to break your PSP BATTERY...
You can't break/brick your PSP by creating a JigKick.
If you successfully create a JigKick, then you can easily downgrade/unbrick ANY PSP with no chance of damaging.

No. Don't try it. If you do, you'll brick your Slim battery.

Sorry, but I don't know.
I've not personally tried this..
But I don't think that should happen.
Give it a go.

Hi, may i ask how you got it working?
I have a similar problem.
First of all, i have a new PSP Slim with 3.73 OFW.
With that i have a 1gb memstick, it isnt fake.
I also have a Datel tool battery.
Now i have followed the installer, chose option 4.
After it installs, with the memory card inserted i put the tool battery in, and the screen remains blank with the green power light turned on.
Where am i going wrong? What could be the problem?
Thanks
This is what it says after i install the files to the mem stick.

I am also using vista.

Are you trying to play emulators? If you want to play emulators, search on dark-alex.org the 1.50 kernel addon V2. If you want to play ISOs(backed up UMD games) then try using this guide.
