Mine was like that a few months ago, rebooting sometimes once a day sometimes 10 times a day reflashed it with fw 7.09, it had got 8.00 before that, only happens an odd time now.

On one of the boxes I followed your instructions a few posts up, on the other one I simply went to Sky 2 and it started updating on its own. My neighbours are out at the moment but I will have pleasant news for them tomorrow evening all thanks to you guys.

Any one know how to type the letter b.. when imputing the codes to up datehh the boxsuper with the remote

had to type in the network code by hand ..the system would not update it self... fellowing the tread ..any ideas if it will up date its self next time...

Cheers DesB. New to this forum hence the dud reply. I had the same problem with my Starview 2 earlier with the % remaining at 0. Did as you said and now have all stations back. Cheers for the help.
On another note. You've probably been asked this already but my box keeps rebooting itself quite regularly (once or twice daily). Starting to get a little annoying. Can you tell me if I'm using the latest software? Have never installed any as my box came pre-installed. My system information tells me I'm using API ver:4.50e_E Boot ver:7.0 5.Jul.2007. If there is better software available you might let me know how to install it in dummy language! I'm am a newbie after all.

hello, is there a reason why when am trying to update with any firmware and i press download its stayin on 0% for about a minute then saying flash update fail,, thats with anythin am tryin.. can anyone help???? thank

also when am tryin going through all the sky channels its updating to about 140% then going back to 0%... will there be a channel where it kicks it in

Just like to add my thanks to those of you who spend time working on fixes. Made a few people exremely happy with software update for SV1.
