Is it the genuine Starview 1 2 or 3 because you need the correct one obviously, if it is 1 then as explained above, if not get back and let us know which.

State what box, SV 1/2/3/etc. and you will get help quicker and without confusion, if it is SV 2 The Box then it is up above okay

That file is downloading to computer but when i try to open the file it wont open, the same pop up box keeps coming sayin open or save

Hi Malci,
I have starbox 3 super.In north dub & my screen is stuck on "data is being uploaded...(0%)" all morning.
Can you please help me out.
Do i need to update the software or will box auto update at some stage soon???

If you can't open the file you need Winrar to unzip it, and never ever try to type anything into the Loader, it will make it corrupt, you will find Winrar in Eamo's FTA Library at the bottom of my post.

Yes you need to connect PC and Box with a NULL MODEM lead, check here to see how, different box same method and lead/s.

Thanks vic, of course it helps but I am assuming that the disc that accompanied the USB Adaptor has been used, when you say "converter" exactly what do you mean vic.
Sorry late replying, it joints my nine pins null modem serial cable to use a usb, I been using the usb from computer to down-load the fireware to the boxes sv1 sv2 sv3, (they belongs to member of my family) except the super box 4 usb which I have used a toggle.

I downloaded winwar and still there is no stb model number coming up. what can i do now. i have the loader window open, everythin is set to download, all thats missing is the stb model. thanks

Sorry folks for taking up your time this morning with my question.
I have The Box Super-Starview 3 & live in North Dublin.
I just went here (http://www.iglooworm.net/computer_tips/2008/04/starview-box-codes.html) 5 mins ago & got the new codes for ireland & its now working fine.

I dont mean to sound like a fool but did you scroll right down to the bottom of the page & enter the codes for 18/12/2008???
Mines on the blink all morning & now its fine after i entered the new codes.

hi,can anyone help me. i have a genuine starview the box 3 super and it has gone down. tried factory reset but still no joy. it is a starview 3 the box super api version 8.00e. boot version 8.0 20 june 2008. do i need new firmware? any help is much appreciated. i am in dublin,
