I'm finding it difficult to pick up a null modem cable in dublin, I've tried a few places and they know what it's for and say they don't stock them anymore, any help folks.

maplins do them, seamus, got one there recently. they also do the usb connector.

Flashed 2 boxes all good only one problem one box has green color on menu screen plus on all channels first i thought it was the tube on TV but when i switched boxes the problem was gone any help??

I got that as well crockett but I just turned the box off and on at the main switch and it was fine.

ok mate do a factory default and do a rescan on the box
also make sure that you have the settings on the box right
ie >>> pal selected and either RGB or CVBS try both ok

Fergus, as others have already said you must have some patients for all the PM's and answering questions, fair play to you and the other experts who we turn to. Luckly I'm in 'The People's Republic' and ye're still up and running. I know it's probably only a matter of time before we start changing over down here but hopefully by then all the questions we'll be asking will already be answered !!

I thought the kryptview auto scanned in standby mode.
it does if you have it switched on check it in your settings
menu >> system settings >>> other settings >>> power search mode ON
just checked it was on.there missing on starview as well,auto scan did not work on starview either fergus?
any chance you could update me on this one fergus,also is it possible to get them back on the starview as well,and if so how!cheers.
