Question for the seniors here - of the 4 boxes that are suitable for N*L Dublin - KV750, Digi XL, Starview 4USB, Dreambox, how would you rate them a scale of 10. I'm ex MaxV2008 and bought a KV750 but am experiencing breakup and the remote has a life of its own.

Still not working. What I haven't done is a factory reset(which I think is default state when flashed right?) because I can't figure out the password.

always factory reset after a firmware update and then re-scan.

yeah I tried the 1668 and I assume it did a factory reset when it asked "Press OK to delete or Exit". I auto scanned and so on but still only the FOA channels coming through.
Now I'm reading on another thread that the digivox XL doesn't work in Dublin. So I'm confused and don't know weather to persue it or not. Sorry for the bother - it's not even my bleedin box :/

You are correct as of now only the Digivox XL USB is working in Dublin. Do you have the USB version or is it the standard XL?

You are correct as of now only the Digivox XL USB is working in Dublin. Do you have the USB version or is it the standard XL?
Standard XL! so I guess that explains it. - Sorry for the bother boys. :/

a mate of mine got a kryptview the other day he changed his password and locked out half of his channels, and now he cant remember the code he put in, is there a over-ride code for it (like the starview has,1668) and if there is 1 can some one tell me thanks.

i just got the digivox usb im in ireland, i put the firmware on it but ive only got one or two channels i tried 1004 1888 to turn on the emu but no luck it did nothing. the update i put on is june 23 09 software 1.04

i dont think there is a emu on that box
are you sure you flashed it proper?
do a factory reset and try it again,there is a guide to flashing the kv proper by hitech

got a digivox as well as kryptview, they are same as starview usb, easy to use and install software, got one cos they were cheaper, not sure what the support is like , 4 months after kryptview

If its not a digivox xl or a kryptview or a starview usb it wont work in Dublin or where N$$ are your provider. Digivox xl will not work.

sory when i said digivox i left out the xl usb part and i am in dub on n*l, and know my way around most boxes except digivix & dream box,

thanks for getting back hooter, i got it working after doing it a couple of times there is something like a emu they call it keycode you need to enable it for anyone who has the same problem go to menu, system info press ok 1004 key code enable it took me a couple of times to get

up to you, but no release as of yet, i wouldnt bin em, if you want rid stick em on gumtree or bidzone, but its up to yourself

Thanks, got a kryptview box last week anyway, will keep the eurovox up for the time being, having a couple of teething problems with it though.Can you point me in the direction of a thread dealing with kryptview, it is making a humming sound it is doin my head in and the picture looks pissed. Don't know if my little princess done something to it.
