If you have a 3G USB modem and you want to get broadband on more than one computer at a time then you need this nifty wireless router from Edimax. With 2 x USB2.0 ports just plug in your 3G modem and any computer in your house with a wi-fi card can access the internet.
Wow they are expensive! www.play.com and www.theboxdistribution.co.uk have them at £44.99
Was not suggesting anyone buy them there, just posting a link to the type of thing being talked about.
play link : http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/-/660/867/-/1...earchtype=genre
Whatever you say, say nothing when you talk about you know what for if you know who might hear you, you know what youll get. Youll be sent off to you know where for you would not know how long. Maybe I could search through the threads so you dont have to ??

No problem just I know how people dismiss ideas as they are too expensive too quickly when you can always find them cheaper somewhere.
It's Starview all the way now!!!!

to be honest, the combo will be come redundant from the cable side as it wont clear n3, the sat side will work and can be connected to a share, but the cable side of it wont work for much longer in UK and wont work at all in Ireland

Hi all, i have read through this tread and its a bit hard to make sense of, i just have some questions and if you could answer them it would be greatly appreciated
What do i need for Waterford:
Starview 6 - will this give me all channels once connected to internet?
Also i seen something about a subsription to a website.
Firstly does that mean i need to buy irish boxes in ireland to avail of the free year?
Secondly Can i then pay for a 2nd year or just throw the box out and start again?
Thanks in advancew for all your answers

Also i seen something about a subsription to a website - The box is working on cable only, the price of the box covers your years use
Firstly does that mean i need to buy irish boxes in ireland to avail of the free year? - No, the box is only set up for Ireland as above, not MMDS and not working fully on corus either, they are the only ones available at present, make sure you use a reputable dealer when buying
Secondly Can i then pay for a 2nd year or just throw the box out and start again? - Nope, goes in the bin, 1 box per year
