The trial version of CCE Basic trial version is worthless you can only encode 3 minutes.

Missed that earlier post. If you notice I changed the post to RAID 0. I know the difference. It's the time of night. RAID O is faster and loss on 1 HD entails loss, and RAID 1 is a mirror setup more for security of stored data. See, I got it.

If you're going to use a trial, use SP. It gives you the function, only leaves a mark on the video. Good for practice. As Sophocles said, the basic is limited to minutes.

Under normal situations with a good system (high capacity), AnyDVD, Rebuilder and CCE 2.69 retail should work. However you are having the buffer problem, and unless you have that fixed, I doubt the setup will make any difference. In fact, as AnyDVD uses more memory it may add to the buffer problem.

Of course if you really want to speed things up then you can either do what I'm going to do, build a much faster dual pentium machine, faster than they've ever gone before (hm! sounds familiar. If you have more than one computer then you can link them together using networking and the use RBfarm to get them working as meso-node.

Going through the guide, it shows sp as the trial version to use, since it is full function. 2.67 is the CCE Basic version which Rebuilder was set up for. Some people say reverting to 67 from the 69 solved some of their problems. Don't know if buffer problems were some of those solved or not. Follow the simple guide for initial setup.
If you are still having the buffer problem, instead of running rebuilder with the one-click setup, try deselecting the one click choice. You have to hit the buttons a few more times, but it may allow the system to work past the buffer problem.

Did you ever get the purchased copy of basic?
Trial won't work for a movie backup.
If you use CCE SP in the mean time you'll need 2.50 version. 2.67 CCE SP has some problems with the Dual athlon setup. It also requires a different setup procedure.

rj-x, which has me kind of worried, im still using trial...
6402 has a point. Everytime, someone uses trial version-problems seem to abound. I never had it(i went ahead and got CCE cos i knew i wanted this method) so i personally can't comment on it, just what I've noticed.
Once you can get CCE and try the 2.67 version I think your problem will be resolved.
I think your easiest path is decrypter to rip and rebuider/CCE and the one click method to start off.
After you get that going you can switch to 3 click mode.
soph and brobear, you guys been busy! soph, I have had a GOOD nite's sleep and am wild and wooly this AM. lol
