Is there a way to do this for the CD-ROM version of the PS2 games. DVD Decrypter does not function with the CD version of a PS2game in he drive.
Thanks

hey VCB what do you mean stickies,, sorry if you think my question is stupid but i havent been here for very long so i dont know what everytone is talking about, i have done my homework and have read aprox 75% of the thread and sometimes you more experienced people dont actually answer the questions. You have to remember that not all of us are pros and that is the reason we are asking stupid questions. But i do feel you, i have seen the same questions one after the other on the same page. Please have patience with us newbies. Two thumbs up to all you senior members and all members that are taking the time to help out. THANK YOU

Hey mantom1
Do you have Nero or roxio?? or what burning software to use??
but if you got Nero just open Nero and open Nero burning rom and select cd rom (iso) and select ur iso and burn it at 2x-4x. You also can use Nero express, if you use express click disk image or saved project and select the iso and again burn 2x-4x.

Ok, I've looked over this thread a lot before I thought to ask this question.
I don't think any one has answered this one and if so, it was EALLY hard to find an answer.
Well I have beatmania IIDX RED and beatmania IIDX 10th .iso files. I tried to burn them to a DVD, but everytime they burn, they have a verification error at the end of the burn. IT says something about a bunch of read errors. Does that mean the .iso is corrupted or something? I also put the games on a hard drive, they won't work quite right either.
The reason I'm asking if it'ws because they're corryupted is because I took one of my games and put it in and ripped as an ISO file. Well, it still didn't work on the hard drive.
I tried using MagicISO to make a new ISO file of the game because the old one wasn't working. But the newer one wouldn't play at all. I think the games not playing have something to do with the hard drive.
But the main question is, how do I make it stop having those verification errors? I'm using Nero burning rom to burn the games and I also use DVD Decrypter I don't understand why it keeps having disc errors when it tries to verify the data.
I'm sorry, I'm ultra sleepy right now and so sorry if some of the stuff I say doesn't completly make sence, but yeah. OK, good night. I hope you guys can help.

Oh wait a second.
1. Can beatmania games play off of a USB hard drive?
2. So the 80 part beatmania IIDX RED file, I burn those all into a DVD?
I tried making an iso file from a game I have just like a back up and it still has verification errors. It also freezes everytime I try to start a song. (This is from playing on the hard drive) What do you think is wrong?

YAY! I got the burn to work... Oh, sorry. Guess that doesn't help you much, huh? lol
Hmm... That's odd. I hate it when you just have the oddest problem ever.
Let's see here... The burn was completly successful, right? (That's including the disc verification)
Can Madden 07 play online? If so, then you need to get the PS2Patcher. I think that's what it's called. (You'll have to look earlier in this thread to find out for sure or google it.) It is used to patch the DNAS file back into the game. If you burn the game and the DNAS code isn't patched back in to the ISO, it won't work no matter what you do.
Basically, if the game plays online, it has a DNAS code. If the DNAS code isn't patched back in, it won't work.
If it's not that, then you can maybe try a different type of DVD.
When you said it keeps restarting, do you mean the game keeps going back to the start screen or something?
Are you using Swap Magic or a modchip?

You bought burnt games? Tsk tsk.
Anyways... what brand and type of DVD's did you use? Media is important, if you read any of the stickies.

Well as I said in the previous post, if that game plays online, you have to patch the DNAS code back into it otherwise it won't work. I don't know if that's the problem though.
As for quality, I have a question. Is the darker the DVD is on the back, the lower the quality.
LIke, the darker it is, the lower the quality is? Because I burned a game and it works fine, but I'm worried about my laser.
Thanks.

This thread is 104 pages long im sure this question has been answered many times. But you lucky, im in a posting mood so ill give you a step by step guide on how to burn ps2 games.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED;
-PS2 game ISO
(you should own the game, this guide is to help you burn your backups of original ps2 games)
-WinRAR
(dont have it? google it!)
-Alcohol 120%
(dont have it? google it!)
-Good media BLANK DVD disks, recommend DVD-R
(Verbatim are good media and there affordable)
1-Install WinRAR and Alcohol 120%
2-(if you did not donwload the game of the internet skip to 4)go to the folder where you saved the downloaded ps2 game, it no doubt will be in .RAR format.
3-UnRAR the .RAR files by right clicking one of the files and choosing "EXTRACT HERE". There will now be an .ISO file in the folder with all the .RAR files
4-Open Alcohol 120%, and on the left hand side click IMAGE BURNING WIZARD
5-A new window will appear, choose the ISO you want to burn and click NEXT
6-Now you will get these choices.
CD/DVD recorder - choose which drive you have put your blank cd/dvd in
Write Speed - keep this around 1x or 2x
Write Method - choose DVD DAO
Number Of Copies - how ever many you want usually 1
(check box's)
Using Multiple CD/DVD Recorders - UNCHECKED
Write - CHECKED
SIMULATION - UNCHECKED
Enable Buffer Underrun Technology - CHECKED
Burn "RMPS" to recordable media - UNCHECKED
When you have sorted all that out click start and the game will start burning
7- Wait for the game to burn and enjoy!
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Hope this guide is nice and clear to u
-Josh

I dont think you have a dvd drive either,
Or maybe you dont have a dvd in the disk drive because when i put in a dvd i get 1x or 2x burn,
Or maybe your computer hasnt realised there is a blank dvd in the drive (happens with me sumtimes).
I dont think it matters what version you have either 1 should work fine.
I think i have got the earliest version, and it works fine with me.

One other thing is with the version im using, after u choose an Iso image file to burn and click next, it brings up another page called IMAGE FILE FORMAT SETTING with the track format and block size, not sure what to do their eathir.

My Alcohol 120% version is 1.9.5 (BUILD 3105)
That image file format settings, do you think you could upload a picture of what that page looks like. Because that has never happened to me before.
Would you mind taking me through the steps of what you did before you tried to burn the ISO?
