How do I create a iso of a PS2 game that is a CD? DVD Decypter only creates iso for DVD games.

I don't need to download the game. I own the game but DVD decypter says it is not a DVD so it will not create the iso for me. How do other people do iso of PS2 CD games?

Yeah, Nero works really well for something like that. MagicISO also will work just fine too.

You mean like Action Replay? Yeah, but see, then you'll have to boot it from the Action Replay, not the Magic Disc. Although, there are some instances where those codes won't work and it'll crash the game or not start at all. BUt in most cases, yeah.
Oh, but it's odd because if you have a slim PS2 and use a SlimTool, the system will still think it's closed, even when you open it. So if you boot a game from AR, then the disc'll keep spinning. If you try and take it out and put the other game it, it won't load right because since it was already spinning, the game will start to kind of wobble around while it's spinning and the PS2 won't be able to read it.
But I heard that in Swap Magic 4, it's gonna have all the cheat code capabilities that AR MAX has and more.
Hey, wouldn't it be just totally awesome if there was a DDR simulator for the PS2 as an .elf file or something that you could boot from Swap Magic and then you could play the simlulator off a hard drive and have as many songs as you wanted just like on the computer, but with out having to get a USB converter for the dance pad? That'd be totally awesome I think. What do you guys think about it?

hey everyone im a NOOB well not severely... anyway i've been reading the past few posts and I tried to follow Josh675's instructions which almost worked...
i downloaded a game and extracted the first .rar file. An ISO popped out then i mounted that with deamon and had dvd dycrypter read it and write it only the writing part didn't work.
So I tried Alcohol, I tried to burn the ISO image and that didn't work either!
Can someone please tell me what I need to do with the ISO image and how to get it on a disc. I will be forever greatfull!! thanks a bunch.

dont use deamon tools to upload the iso to a drive, just open DVD Decrypter and put on iso-write mode and select the iso and choose 2x-4x write speed and burn it onto a dvd. that all you got to do.

Im starting to think you have a problem with your ISO
delete the iso of your computer then extract it again and try burn it.
dont mount the iso with deemon.

@EaSyE531
well the maxium speed is 6.1X
choosing maxium just means the maximum spped out of all the options,
so if you had 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x and chose maxium it would only burn at 4x.
try burning it at 6.1x it might work, its a bit fast but hey?
just give it a try and tell us how it goes.

If the ISO doesn't work or doesn't burn for some reason, try this, mount the ISO to an image drive, open the drive and see if the files are all there. If they are, next try this. Extract the files from the ISO. Then, make a new ISO file with those files from the broken ISO. Sometimes the files are ok, but the ISO is wrong or incorrect. But when remaking the ISO, it's best to keep all settings on default otherwise the files could be packaged wrong. You can make ISOs with MagicISO. Once it's an ISO, try burning that ISO. If it still doesn't work and you get the same problem, there's somethig wrong with the files in the ISO.
Oh, by the way. It said somewhere here that you have to burn the game at half the speed the DVD can go. Everyone here has been saying burn 2x-4x. Well, I tried those speeds and the data was put on too slow for even my computer to read it. I have Sony and Memorex 16x DVDs and burned them at the maximum speed. (8x)It works just fine now. Sometimes, dumb things will happen like verification errors. Most of the time, you won't have those problems though.
