If you have dvd decrypt then open it up hit mode, iso, write, then go pick your source file (were you have your iso file) then hit burn in the lower left hand corner, put your burn speed at 4x, then wait, depending on how big it is 5-30min you will have a back up

Hey i tried to back up my madden game, and when i backed it up it came up with all of these other files like, .irx, some image files, and some .dat's, and .bin's, is there any way to get these on a disc, i tried DVD Decrypter, like usual but these files dont work. Does anyone know how i can burn these to a dvd, and play them in my ps2?

Thanks in advance.

Hey take it easy man, they're in a new world now with a computer, it takes time.

In fact, I got a n00b moment, starring myself. A long time ago I asked my uncle if I could transfer my floppy A: discs free memory to my hard drive so I could have more space.

Yeah, I know. XD

hi, i download yesterday(toca race driver 3) again some ps2 games.
But the difference with the one i downloaded yesterday and some other ones before is that yesterday there was not a image file inside. Inside the rar package were the files of the ps2 game themself. Files are: system,license,rhd1.hug,rhd2.hug,... . The files you find when you put a ps2 game in your cddrive.
Sow my question is how can i put them now on cd? With Nero just like "data" or something else. Because when i try it like "data" the disc is to smal.

Thanks

@ iceman, use magiciso/magicdisc or some program to compile all the files into a iso file.

and I have a question of my own, I know that you should burn 2x-4x but should I read 2x-4x as well?? what I mean by read is when you but your origanal game in your dvd burner and you use DVD Decrypter, and you put the game onto your hard drive.

thanks
Tim

Do you really need the flip top and the swap magic disk if you don't have the mod chips?....By the way, what does the swap magic disk do?

Hey, I have a question. Well, I used the PS2 SlimTool to play games and it works fine with Swap Magic... it doesn't however work fine with the Action Replay because since the PS2 always thinks it's closed, even when you open it, the disc won't stop spinning. So we tried taking it out while it was spinning... ouch. It hurt... litterally. So then we tried putting in the other game while the little circle in the middle was still going. Well, it almost work, but when we put it in, the laser started bumping up against the disc... not good. IT didn't harm it or anything, but it slowed it down when it was trying to spin it, so it never worked.

Does anyone know a way to use action Replay with the SlimTool for the slimline PS2s?

It's kind of odd because surprisingly enough, with the slimlines at least, you need more than the magic disc otherwise, it still won't work. You still need th switch it without the game being opened, so yeah. How do you use the Action Replay to Swap discs with the SlimTool? I wanna know because my friend has Action Replay MAX and it will cost less for him to buy just the pieces and not have to buy the pieces and the Magic Disc.

Thanks in advance.

Oh, my other question about the DVDs. You know how some blank DVDs are darker than others on the back. If the bottom side of the disc is lighter, does that mean that it's of a better quality and higher media than a DVD of a darker colored backside? I just got a 50-pack of Sony 16x DVD-Rs. Do you think that is a good quality? The one game I copied, I used a Memorex 16x DVD-R. Is that of a good quality? Is there a comparison chart somewhere that has all the DVDs and their media qualities on it? I'd sure love to look at it.

Thanks.
