Rite if anyone has any probles with FIFA 07 and using swap magic 3.6 i have the answer! i used this on my iso and it worked fine.

Have the fifa iso in a file you will remeber.

WHAT TO DO.
------------

Get
hxxp://www.alucard.cc/ps2/ExPERT_v1.03.rar

and get the rebuilder tool

extract it using WinRAR ( right click the rar file and extract to .... my documents)

you will now have 2 files :

EXPERT.exe
EXPERT plugins

now heres the simple bit

open up expert.exe
select Shrinker_ps2_psp_CdDvd5_iso.epi on the plugins list on the left hand side
2. Select the iso ... .ISO (click BIG FILE)

from here you do thsi in this EXACT order

3. Click extract LBA
4. Click extract file
5. Click rebuild file
6. Click rebuild lba.

if you do this correctly you can have a look in my documents you will see NEW.ISO which is approximatly 2.5 gig in size this is the one you burn with you burning program

and it works online.
-------------------------------------------------------------------

all you gotta do is search people i found this in like 5 minutes.

Ok, an intersting and posibly stupid question. Why does it say PS2_PSP. THis brings me to believe that you can do something with PSP games as well... Hmm.. A PSP emulator on a PS2.... Since all the PSP games are just PS2 games in a handheld form, it should work. But I have no idea HOW it would work.

The break of day is but beyond a cry of hidden sorrow.

PSP games are NOT PS2 games in handheld form. The PSP has virtually the same specs as a PsOne, which is nowhere near as powerful as PS2.
And the reason the plugin says PS2 & PSP is NOT for any sort of emulator, it becuase you can also shrink PSP iso images with the app if you need to.

Hi, I have a problem with backing up my PS2 games. I have DVD Decrypter and swap magic 3 plus. My problem is once I have read and written the ISO file I try the new backup disc in my PS2 but it won't work. I have managed to backup 2 different games but I've had trouble with others. Am I doing something wrong or forgetting to do something? Thanks in advance.

Hi, I'm back with some new discs. Couldn't get the ones you mentioned but I have Sony RW. If it doesn't work then I can blank the disc and try again. I have the DVD Decrypter open and selected 4x for the speed. I know I have the ISO image, do I just write that again?

yes write the iso at 4x but i dont think the RW is the way to go, you should use -R and if it isnt working at 4x then it is probably a bad iso

Nero is the only one out of the three will work. I recommend googling DVD Decrypter and get that, its the best...its rips and burns, and is extremely easy to use. Imgburn is the best for burning...it picks up where DVD Decrypter left off, and imo its the best for burning images. You can prolly pick up Imgburn here at aD, but you will have to find DVD Decrypter on your own.

EDIT

@kamilion

RW are absolutely no good with the ps2...+R should be fine, booktype them to DVD ROM if you can, but RW are crap when it comes to the ps2 laer, no matter the make of the disk

I found out that my other computer has a DVD+/-RW so I can use the discs I bought by mistake. I did manage to backup a game lastnight but I'm still having trouble with Scarface and Fantastic 4. Maybe it's the discs and not me.

You can't copy Swap Magic, you have to buy it.
