I am sorry but you will not be getting your PS3 in March. Most are prdicting around the same time 360 launched last year.

anyways, not to be a consiracy theorist or anything, but maybe sony is telling little to nothing of the release date untill it comes closer the what they plan so that m$ wont hurry with their production and ship out a million xboxes to combat the ps3's launch. if ps3 is under production now, or close to it, by the spring they could have a million consoles per country for a japanese/american release (europe and austrailia, you used to getting shafted anyways). point is, if they keep quiet about it, ms wont hurry, and they will push the ps3 as hard as can and people will go out and buy one cuz it seems cool and there are no 360's. keeping in the dark is their best move right now to keep m$ from fighting their movements. i for one think it is a smart move.

At the end of the day, it comes out when it comes out..
(I can see the Nintendo Revolution Being a bit of a dark horse, especially with the revelation that it's going to retail in at under $300)

i agree. the polls show most people will get a revolution and a 360 or ps3, rather than either alone. but for people only getting one system, its primaraly the rev getting attention from older gamers and parents who wanna get their kids something cheap to shut them up.

oh and anubis i think most people would disagree with you when you say that halo was lacking in gameplay, wtf are you talking about its awesome, you can keep going back and playing old maps over and over again, and for halo 2 although the single player was not as good the online service was unbeatable, i never got tired of that, well atleast not untill they started modding.

Y'know I completed halo on legendary, it was tough but i did it. But has anyone here completed halo 2 on legendary? I could barely get past the first level! I feel so ashamed lol.

Gameplay is not defined as learning curve. Gameplay is the enjoyable play factor of the game. anubis has his own opinion on the game which is fair enough but going by the high majority of people Halo/Halo 2 are classed as triple A games with a high level of gameplay.
I would seriously consider before byeing that TV anubis. I think you will get the same results from the Sony Barvia V series. Its a top quality TV that is equal to the one you suggest but alot cheaper although its the most expensive of the LCD's.
One last thing why does Halo keep coming up? regardles of personal opinion (like mine with Fanal Fantasy) Halo is a top game that can draw people towards the 360. There is no objection to this becuase there are reviews on both these games and high sales figures so peorsonal opinion does not count to the success Halo 3 will bring to the 360.

that is cuz a majority of the people who play the game like it, otherwise they would not play it. does anyone really enjoy dance dance revolution cept japanese people and/or girls? i didnt, its lame. thoe the people would who play it would say its fun and never gets old. i am not fond of the halo engine, and i am not fond of it repetitive gameplay. anyone remember that kinda early but not level in halo where you cross like 3298562 identical bridges that are grey and metaice with lots of covenant on them? borrrrrrring. anyone get nothing but sniped online? borrrrrrrring. sniping is sooo easy on halo its not funny at all.
so what did people think of my theory up there a bit? plausible? logical?

Your theory only has one hole, sony barely shipped dev kits out before ces, how would they be making retail boxes now? And you have to remember, sony has a history of over-stating facts, and promising things they cant deliver.

the only promise i think they left mostly in the dark was the usefulness of the hdd. look at
ffxi, its over 8.5 gigs, more than a standard dvd9, the the graphics wernt that great.
there were 4000 dev kits shipped as of the begining of this month if i remember right, so
there is no reason for them not to have a console by march-may.
and overstating facts? ha the have told us almost nothing to keep this in the dark well enuf to
prevent m$ from pwning them with thrown out money.

haha i read a post of mine from i think dec 12 on the ps3 vs 360 a war to come thread. this was before the release of the production of an HD-DVD drive.

Have you ever even stopped to consider the fact that maybe sony doesnt have a completed design yet? You are talking like they have been done for months and are just waiting to spring it on m$ when its best timed. That is complete lunacy. No company in their right mind would bypass profit for "sticking it to the man". No matter how big the rivalry. Just common sense. But then again, fanboys dont understand logic.

could be making it in secret and releasing nothing so that m$ doesnt try to 1up them and
make more 360's available before they release. if sony releases in the 360's downtime, most
people will buy it cuz its right there.

i think there will be a japan/america release, if sony doesnt they will lose more, the japanese want it yes, but if they dont stick a foot in america before m$ drives deeper then they will have one hell of a time. europe and austrailia, as i said b4, are used to geting shafted and you guys can wait.

guys if anyone has not seen the new footage from ghost recon on xbox 360 then go ow.
its amazing it looks soo god and the online play has soo many features that anubis was saying that live was missing. and considering that the games does not come out for at least another 2 mounths then it will look slight better than it already does, ok check these vids out, look at the first 4, especially the second one b/c the the rain looks awesome.

OK people Microsoft still has the Halo 3 dated to come out in the Spring of this year. So with that said PS3 is going to be out around that time. Halo 3 will be the only thing that will be able to compete with the PS3 on the market when it comes out. And even that ain't no competion so. Hurry up March. Sony do your thang.

What are you still living in 2005? Bill Gates has corrected his original statment saying that Halo 3 will be out by spring when PS3 is out. He is now saying to expect a summer even a 2006 holiday release. Check the latest interview in Electronic Gaming Monthly if you do not believe me.
