ive only seen it being played in e3 clips and other demos. it looks like the gameplay i know
and love so i know i'll like it. telling me i wont is like telling me a new car wont have an
engine. i assume a new car i buy has an engine, but do i really know untill i start it? no. i
assume there is an engine because its highly highly probable.

Most of the games you saw at e3 were running at 720p. Furthermore, developers have already voiced concerns of running 1080p games on the ps3 without having some sort of framerate problems.

my fx5200 can do 1280x1024 niceley, and a midle slightly up and do that one in the 2000's with ease. so why wouldnt the ps3, an equivelent to a 7900, not be able to pull off 19??x1080? nvidia is reliable, im sure they thought it thru if there would be something different to lag it.

stop talking about blue-ray. That's the stuppidest reason to buy a ps3. It doesn't matter what kind of drive the system has as long as the games run. I'd much rather pay attention to graphics, online gaming, customization Games (HALO 3); man, i could go on and on. And anyway, the ps3 is way to expensive for what it's worth.
XBOX 360 is better by far.

Oh yeah, why do you people continue to say ps3 has BETTER games. The games aren't BETTER. playstation usually has more titles. just because you have MORE games doesn't mean they're BETTER. And who even cares if it has MORE games, you're not going to buy every game that's released (unless you're some rich freak with no life).
ps3 doesn't have any good games that the xbox 360 doesn't.
Might I add, HALO 3 is supposedly coming out sometime in 2007.
ONLY ON THE XBOX 360. for you retards that ask if halo3 will come out for ps3, you're only asking that because you love halo so much and don't wanna admit that you'd buy a 360 even if it was only for halo3.

what are you talking about. ps3 sucks and xbox 360 is way better.
all those titles you mentioned don't matter when you have halo 3. and anyway xbox 360 has many more options than a ps3. the ps3 will probably be screwed up right when it's released and so the 360 will have even more of a head start.

poissen all of us have agreed that halo is overrated. i mean it does not have that good of a story unlike mgs4 and ff, but in my opinion i don't really like alot of fps, and from what i have played halo is just a typical game.

mods im not bashing anyone its just plain and simple that 99.9% of people who own a ms console ABSOLUTELY love Halo.besides its not like its a bad word or the dreaded "fan boy" term.Halo single handedly put MS on the map so for you to say its a little whacky.Had to go old school un ya with that one haha

you're wrong. the only reason the 360 isn't doing well in japan is because those people don't know what's good and sony is much more japan focused. if it was sent to the entire world you'd see who would win and it'd be the xbox 360.
Oh and by the way xbox 360 is

if you can afford a ps3 then you can definitley affor to pay 50 bucks a YEAR for online servece. playstation has sucky online service.
the service for the ps2 only allowed only four people to play in one game.how gay is that. and you coulnd't even create a game like you can on the 360.
PLUS the ps3 copied everthing about the 360 and they still can't get it to work properly befor the release. they copied the removable hard drive, the HD graphics, the camera (may come out for ps3). too bad they can't release halo3 haha. it belongs to microsoft and there not stupid enough to allow ps3 to sell this game. Sony WAS stupid enough to allow microsoft to sell their best game: GTA.
before I go, the ps3 has the ugliest looking controllers I've ever seen in my life. they're way to big and they're almost as dumb as the nintendo wii's controller.

poisson the reason it is not doing good in japan is cause people in japan don't like fps like the x360 has to offer they like rpgs like ff. and the library is bigger for ps3. btw sry bout last night i had to get rid of 60 americans worth of something and then i needed to wash it down with some stuff.it's dr.cool

Sony already have a camera, it's called the eyetoy.
All Xbox games will NOT be BC.
And the only problem with the PS3 controller is the lack of Dual Shock.
The games will probably be good on both consoles, covering all genre's.

50 bucks a year isn't that expensive. It's less than 5 dollars a month.
But there's no way you know if the ps3 will have a sucky online service. It hasn't been released yet.

This is a gross oversimplification of an otherwise complicated game.
Anyone can to this with any game and make it sound as bad as you have made halo sound.
You may think halo is overrated, which I can't argue with because that's your opinion.
Nonetheless, the Halo franchise is huge, and an important asset to Microsoft.
I found a good link for the top 25 overrated games. Halo is number 10.

the contollers are not the same unless they've changed them from what I saw last. they curve way to much.
plus the regular xbox had medal of honor frontline.
say what you want but we'll see what system is the real deal once the ps3 is released. And do you think that the online service will be better than that of the xbox 360? NO WAY!
how can you call the top selling game of all time and the most popular out of all genre's overrated. there's no opinion that halo is the best game ever; it's common sense.

dude halo has no origionality it is like doom. but doom is fun, a game like mgs has actual challenges. and isint world of warcrack the most popular genre? and if halo is so great why did the xbox only sell 20 mil and the ps2 sold 100 mil?
