Ehh... I looked at it on my 50" plasma. It looked ok til I zoomed in. Definetely going Rebuild! Looks like I robbed the menu a little too much too. I normally dont care about the menu, but this ones got animation, and it really does deserve its quality! Wish I had an upscaler to REALLY test it out.
To delete, or not to delete. THAT is the question!

TDK works with AnyDVD 6.4.9.0 and DVD Shrink. I changed automatic to custom and set is to 58% compression. I did take out the French audio and one of the Spanish tracks. You get all the junk and the menu and it looks great on my DVD player in the bedroom with just a 26" LCD screen. I tried some of the other methods to get just the movie only and they all look the same. This was a very easy backup.

@germoon - yep an alligator could do this one :)
A whopping 18 minutes total on my end - movie & menu burning at 8x.
edit to add - used AnyDVD 6.4.9.0 w/ CloneDVD 2.9.2.0 & 70% compression.

I backed this up today dual layer with Anydvd and shrink. The only thing out of place is the menu, it looks fine but there is no sound playing. Any one else have this happen? I also did a backup with Fab then shrink and it's the same. It's only the menu though so no biggie.

@ZoSoIV
My slight mistake - the first one I did I forgot to check keep menu :) I realized that when I stuck it in the dvd player :)
That was 70%.
I'm redoing it now - with menu though it's 68%.
I'd post a screen shot in a few but I'm off to finally see Avenged Sevenfold -woohoo! I can post one tomorrow if you like.

Ripped with AnyDVD with AI off. Ran through Shrink. Burned with Decrypter. What I got was, a full disc backup with all menus. AnyDVD version 6.4.9.0.
P.S. I read all the other post. Tried several. Posting my working results. Hope this helps.

@ZoSoIV
The 53% is with the French and Spanish audios - those being removed bump it way up.

Opened windows task manager when I tried to use DVD Fab Decrypter to backup Dark Knight. Almost looked like a virus. Spiked my memory up to 2.37 GBs. Has anyone else seen this?

I have the newest version of DVDFAB platinum 5.2.0.8 and newest version of dvdclone and anydvd and both have the same results,when I backedup the complete movie the previews are bluryy and choppy,and the movie has a sliht blurr to it,and when I do the movie only it comes out the same way,blurred,not a lot but enough to be noticeable to me anyways,maybe I'm just to picky,any thoughts on the blurriness thanks.

Hmmm... No one else has said anything. I didnt see anything along those lines either (Blury). My thoughts would be to test it on more than one device. I myself dont trust my Lcd monitor anymore. I burn to an RW if necessary, and test on my 50" plasma to be sure.
To delete, or not to delete. THAT is the question!

I've been using DVDFab HD Decrypter since it first stepped in to take over DVD Decrypter's place and I've never seen any "virus" with this awesome ripper.
Where did you download DVDFab HD Decrypter from? And what version are you using to rip TDK? I'm guessing the newest DVDFab HD Decrypter 5208 should be able to handle TDK as well.
DVDFab HD Decrypter main page - http://www.dvdfab.com/free.htm
DVDFab HD Decrypter 5208 betta - http://club.cdfreaks.com/f116/dvdfab-5-2-0-8-beta-out-258553/
As I stated on earlier page, DVDFab HD Decrypter 5205 ripped this beast flawlessly within 13 mins and the rest is history.

Okay well I just burned The Dark Night. This is what I did. I also had trouble burning it at first. I was trying to use DVD Shrink and it would get stuck analyzing the disk at 11%. So i did some research and I did this. I tried Any DVD and DVD Clone and it was worked. I got a IFO file from that till 99% then it failed. So I tried DVD Shrink again and this time it did not get stuck. I was able to used DVD Shrink to get and IFO file. I then went to DVD Decrypter and it failed at first. I used Power To GO which is just a simple program that comes with Vista I think. I just opened the IFO File and burned it and it worked. I then went back and tried again opening the IFO file with DVD Decrypter and it worked. So my best bet would be to use ANY DVD first just to like unlock the DVD i think because what CLONE DVD told me was that it had some SCC codecs and ANY DVD is able to crack that. That must have been what unlocked the DVD to make it work with DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter. Well I hope this helps everyone and again this is the way I did it I do not know if it will work for everyone, but I imagine it should.
