First time i loaded it, it froze at the swap magic sceen i tryed again and the game loaded but it still has the loading in races :-(
theres less though but its still to annoying for me to play,
ive tryed verbatim dvd - r sony dvd - r and maxell dvd - r the maxell disk sounded like it was putting more strain on the laser than the verbatims do, i might download the black edition

before i post my thoughts, i would like to say, this is not saying u have to do this!!!
i put a side what everyone said so far in this thread, and tried something else. i got the NFS: MW Black Edition, and burned with the same DVD-R i used to burn the normal NFS: MW, and it works like a charm.
the Black Edition is also a DVD5, and also will give u more extras.
stop wasting DVDs and trying to find out what works and what won't, get this version.

ive given up on normal version i deleted it from my computer, im going to download the black edition in a few days time (i have a few things i want to download at the moment) i just hope this download works without any problems i hate wasting media.
Edit: Manh what is the size of the black edition you downloaded?

mystro my ps2 doesnt play F***ING,DVD+(PLUSS!!!!)R right and ive wasted enough dvds on this game, im gonna download the black edition like Manh
suggested, Manh did you get your version from torrenleech? i just looked at the comments on the one thats the same size as yours and this was one of them.
The game is buggy, long loading times and pauses, rebuilt the iso, now it is ok, regular version had no problems compared to this one, thanks for the upload though
did you rebuild the iso?

Hey guys, chill :)
Can someone tell me how to burn the files to disc? The files I have is posted by mystro on page 3 on this thread....
Do I have to make an ISO or just burn to DVD+R?
Please help :)
- PSP1000 V1.50
- PS2 mesiah chip im told?

i didnt download my Black version from torrentleech, i got it from a newsgroup, but its the same file.
the game is not buggy, it works perfectly, and any good media will work with it, there is no one specific media or -/+.
i used RiDATA burned at 2x at it works flawlessly.
i have used over 300 RiDATA DVD-R, over 200 RiDATA cd-r and have never had any problem until NFS: MW normal edition. i think this is due to the ripper's flaw of ripping it to fast. cuz i dont see why it would do that.
anyways, for all of you who are having alot of problem, and wasting alot of DVD-R so far, just trash can the normal version and get the Black Edition, and enjoy the game.

rudey1984, im not sure sorry, if i was you i would try making it into a iso file before burning, but it might not work

wow didnt realize i was gonna start all this :). ok here is the story originally i downloaded the game using newsleech. then i burned to verbatim +R had seriously troubles while on the courses, every 2 seconds you would come up to a point on the track or course and it would be nothing and then it would pause then start again and continuously do this. well i took some advise from the stickies, which is were everyone should start. i bought some sony DVD-R made in taiwan. burned the exact same copy that i had to the verbatim +R and im on the #2 black list person and i have not had a single problem yet. not boggy, no pauses, awesome load time. i even went and rented the game just for a base test as to what was going on and the sony-r honest to god plays it better than the actual game. my advice for burning these games is if it doesnt work the first time try and rebuild it, but i have not had any problem since i started creating a mds file for the iso and burning the mds file which will be very small but will automatically burn the iso with it on alcohol. i have gone through my entire stack of 50 dvds and have not had a single bad one with this method. take it for what its worth but before ppl start ripping each others heads off read the stickies how to burn and what media to use, and if there is still a problem not to be answered by those then post in the forums. and no need to yell and cuss at each other. this forum along with its members and advice is a privilege. so take it for that and respect other ppls opinions and READ THE STICKIES before coming into the forums to ask questions cuz that is part of the forum rules. hope that helps all and ends the fueds :)

I use verbatim dvd-rs, i just started the black edition download (7 hours left)
rudey1984 people probably know but are not looking in here, you could always make a new topic and see if you get the answer that way.

rudey, check the stickies, there should be no special way to burn it me and a couple guys have had absolutely no problems, like i said above just make mds file with dvddecrypte, i believe its in the "write" part of it and the burn the mds file with alcohol and you should have no problems, alcohol will automatically burn the mds and iso file, cuz you must choose the iso file when creating the mds. best of luck, but once again check the stickies. and u can get the download from a number of leeches or a newsgroup which will be the quickest way but cost you a small fee. which for a 50 dollar game in a couple of hours pending your internet connection is well worth the 15 i pay a month

i downloaded need for speed most wanted
PS2DVD-Need.For.Speed.Most.Wanted.PAL and extracted it but when i open it up there is no .iso file. there is a image file but it doesnt burn with DVD Decrypter i just says 'invalid or unsuported image file format. so does anyone no how to burn it ??? it was mentioned earlyer in this thread but there was not enough detail someone just said to use iso magic
