I initially installed Nero8 when I first got the computer. Using Nero Vision (latest 5.3.12) I would get a message that my Desktop was on battery power and it might effect recording a DVD as it was composing the DVD.

I contacted Nero and the answer was to un-install Nero 8 and then use the Clean tool, re-install. Didn't fix it. The Nero answer, buy Nero 9 and if it didn't work, they fix that, but not 8. OK, I'll live with it, just an annoying message as I'm on wall power, not battery.

Now the problem. Before, when first installed, and also on XP, I could put a little over 4 hours of video on a DVD5 DVD. Now I can just about get 2 hours? I've tried ALL settings, Automatic, Long Play, Super Long play, I can't make it happen? If I use another authoring program, like DVDFlick, it can put over 4 hours on the same DVD?

Why would this happen? Is there some Nero files or filters/Codec's I'm missing? Has to be part of Nero if another program has no problems, no?

Suggestions please.
