Recent installation of NERO 9 unexplainable PROBLEMS

Since My recent download/installation/registration of Nero 9. I have experienced nothing but grief with the running thereof. I had an ealier free version ? it was excellent...after spending $65.00 I'm not pleased.
Of course Nero is untimely & lacking with reliable support.
Basically the program runs..(But so very very slow) and consistantly hangs up..???? My system is in top notch condition...Nero is the only problematic software.
Has anyone else experienced this, or similar problems since installing Nero 9. Further details if needed ref my system.
Any assist appreciated..TNXS
