is all above board?all correct?
the only other thing is that my network connection is set to 10 half mode and is displaying the yello triangle with "limited or no connectivity" on the bottom right hand corner of my pc...is that normal?

i have a n****a d**x2 running on sportster 1.6 uk01 on VM & im in manchester
firstly when this first happened i (like a lot of us) rescanned the box do i now need to reflash it?
i have tried entering keys i have deleted the old ones & now have nothing at all in the keylist file could anyone tell me exactly what the keys should start with N???? & the time, date & rom no
i have read that you need to have rom7 enabled & all the rest disabled how exactly do i do this?
ive downloaded the bigmaq toolbar how do i know what codes to use for my area (vm in manchester)pure n*l or ex c*w?
do you have to subscribe to the minimum package to get all this to work? i know that this sound like a stupid question its just that my box was working perfectly well for well over a year after i got cut off & its only now that i have had any problems!(my internet is still on LOL! so i should still be getting a signal???)
im goin to pick up a cable 2moz to connect my box to pc (in case i need to flash) what cable do i need exactly? ive read about null modem & crossover cables but how will i know which to use? do they connect to ethernet or rs232 on back of box? is there a cable that i can connect to my box that plugs into the usb port?
any help that could at least get me up & running for now would be very much appreciated any answers to any of my question & id be very grateful
many thanks in advance & sat here fingers crossed please help!!!!!

If ya go into my link below you will get a image for virgin flash it with that make sure your connected to the box via FTP make sure your ip on your box and pc aint the same when your flashing a new image via FTP the old shit will replace the new image if your using flash assit it will erase all the old stuff too then create it auto not sure if i have Service & boq files there too but wont be hard to find
Hi tried this today and got the image flashed...bit pink but ok! Then ran into a problem in that I can't connect (FTP) to the box now. I have all the same settings but the box doesn't have an IP and when I put one in it says "unreachable" or "socket error". Pretty sure set up at the PC end is the same. Scanning with this image didn't work (it still says CableDeutschland and I can't transfer a services xml file.)
Cheers.
Hi thanks to ogg and others for helping, I've learned a bit about my dbox now! Have succesfully flashed a new image (the laky-pro one) and now all is working ok. Channels are mucked up so I could use an up-to-date services.xml and bouquets, otherwise job done!

Oh yeah, so if anyone can point me in the direction of a services.xml and bouquet which will work ok in Nottingham area that would be good.

I got my box working ok using just a crossover (ie. ethernet) cable and FTP, no null cable reqired. If you have an image you should be able to work it out by looking back at threads and at tutorials for FTPing. If you need to flash the whole thing you can do it this way.

if you are going to use a null you need it a usb to rs232 convertor n then prob a genger changer female to female so it can go into the dbox (dbox is male) then in to ur usb ,thats only if you dont have a null socket on your pc
i got mine from cpc

Where your settings are
dbox ip address, 192.168.0.3
change to
ip address, 192.168.1.3
And try that
