1 get flash fxp > ftp
2 get the file > http://www.4shared.com/file/43880742/b756ed13/nagrarom7.html
and unzip it
3 plug an ethernet cable in to your computer and box.
4 go to dbox then network on your box remote.
5 go to flash fxp on your computer and pick file then quick connect.
6 type your ip address from the box and put user name as root and password as dbox2 and connect.
if it doesnt connect change your box ip and dns and default gateway the same: 192.168.000.003 and then pick start\restart network on the box.
7 once connected go to var\keys and put the file in and overwrite.
8 wait a few seconds and your box will come back on.

anyone that wants a new image uk and ireland with auto update can download this sportster if they want:

it's pretuned for ireland and has an auto update.
if you live in uk and channels don't work with it do a service scan on:
'cable uk 6952'
overwrite existing
fast scan off

I have sorted quite a few boxes out in the past week but one particular box a Sagem with commando 6 image on it is having my eyes out
It won't save the new keys and if I delete all the old ones and save it I go back in and there back again
also tried to re-flash it with new image but can not connect to computer I seem to think that the default password & user name have been changed by previous meddler and cocked it right up, it won't even respond to the null modem cable
anyone with any help $:)

Im a sportster fan, so I want to put sportster pro on it to which I had done dozens with week with and find then rock solid with it, the machine at the moment has commando 6 on it

hi there
is there a difference between an ethernet cable,network cabel,rj45 cable,a crossover cable?
i have tried the method abouve,and wasup untill 1am trying it last night (my eyes are like dugs baws here in work)
i cant get the pc to communicate to the box....
any ideas?

Hi guys Forby69 back again not so suicidal as have found old analogue box which is still working but this is doing my napper in firstly what is the sunderland code n5401 orwhat secondly done network scan which is d box 192 . 168 0 .6 reachable
default gateway 192 168 1 .1 unreachable socket error
dns server 192 168 1 .1 unreachable socket error
wiki.tuxbox.via ip unreachable socket error
whats all this about and what needs to br changed.THIS is getting to bomb disposal propportions no offence to our armed forces. Please help Forby69

use a null with ifa put the image you want on it then it will have everything you know on it

hay people i am not exactly new to this site been following your execlent work for weeks with the latest Virign Media problem was just wondering if people have now fixed this problem weather they would be willing to backup there images with the autoupdate.bin fix on it and post it on this site or post a link to were it could be downloaded. Is there anyone in the nottingham derby leicester area that has managed to get the new perm fix and knows what he is doing with dbox 2s. if the answer is yes. then would you be prepared for a fee to sort mine and many others at the same time. i have tried for days to no avail

There is a img on the BigMAQ toolbar that has the fix in it it's called the All new lacky pro 1 but not sure how good it is only installed it yesterday but has worked for me
