No I was refering to the white printable,I might have read U wrong.on the silver Disc the closest thing I've found is the ProDisc,which prints to the clear part of a reg Disc,but this Disc also has a brighter ring around the center,but is printable..sorry if i read u wrong
But be warned these are not a good recordable Disc [bad reputation]

@brockb
The general opinion here is Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim for discs.
Taiyo has the silver inkjet but not hub printable - I use them. I've also tried the Prodisc ones which are more gold than silver. Like rick5446 warned the Prodisc ones don't have a good rep. I've used them once - never again - hit or miss. I'll stick w/ TY or Verbatim only.

Any other sites you guys know of for good high-res replacement labels? All the ones I usually use are shutdown, the best one (highrescovers) has been going through a change for the last few weeks and nothing available for who knows how long.

I have an EpsonR300.

Very happy w/ it. One of the best $60 I ever spent, for backups.

You cannot beat the results you get w/ an Epson printer,
for such a low price. Also the ink is MUCH cheaper than other brands.

No Best Buy dont have them, they was replaced with the r220 which is getting hard to find, this summer Epson was going to overhaul their printer line and put in chips

I have a friend who works in the graphics industry. He primarily uses high-end printers that cost thousands of dollars. An Epson Rep recently told him that the company was overhauling its entire consumer printer line.

They have developed a new print cartridge that is impossible for third party companies to refill. Printer companies make the majority of their profits from selling ink, not the printers. If you buy any of the new printers when they come out, possibly by the end of this year or sooner, you will be stuck buying Epson ink cartridges.

Unlike the in the past, 3rd party suppliers will not be able to get around this new system because it is built into the manufacturing process. I don't think the 3rd party suppliers are going to be willing to spend millions of dollars just so they can fill ink cartridges.

$10 a cart, I don't think so.

Check out meritline.com for the epson compatable ink. Less than $16 for all 6 carts!!!

Then take empties back to staple's for $3 voucher- per cart,so basically you have free ink,and an extra buck or 2.

Staple's have the epson R-340 on sale this week. $130,and no rebate to mess around with. The R-220 runs $100 at staple's.

http://supermediastore.com/epson-r200-r300-r320-ink-inkjet-cartri...

$14 a set or $25 for 2 full sets,not counting shipping.

Heads Up!

I was at Staples yesterday 8-20-06 and the clerk told me at around Sept. 15th they will no longer be giving the $3.00 off coupon for ink cartridges that are not HP. This was in Southern California but the clerk said it will be a nation wide thing. You may want to call your local Staples and see if you find the same situation.

Also I have been using the private abacus ink and have been really happy with both the service and products.

I have the R300 and I bought 36 cartridges that 6 set for .99 each with free shipping and no Tax. They came with a 2 year unconditional guarantee. I print about 2 - 3 DVD's a day at the highest photo quality I can set it at, plus graphic designs I do everyday. I put in one set a month ago and it's not even at the half way point. A good place for R200/R300 media or cartridges is Meritline.com
Sign up to receive there deals via e-mail. If you do not have to buy right away they will send excellent deals every 2 to 3 weeks.

I just bought a stack of 100 Memorex 16x DVD+R (-R was also available at the same price) 4.7GB Hub inkjet printable, delivered to my door for $27.00

Enjoy

You can find the silver inkjet TY's here (+ & - format):
http://supermediastore.com

@Cory_ag
Watch the Memorex - not very highly recommended. Maybe you got the ones made by Ritek which are decent.
For a few more bucks you can get better ones - Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden.
