hey i got my own Publicist..lol
i not only got the 25ct of MIJ sony8x+r's but i went to officemax and tok 4 lexmark inkcarts and got a Verb 16x+r 50ct cake box for $1.05.. how sweet is that

Hey look at this deal and see if you can find any MIJ since the B&M deals are almost gone for TY's. Plenty on the web but I haven't seen to many MIJ Sony's, Fuji's, or TDK's lately. :)

does clonedvd2 do any scans similar to the ones like Nero does, do check for quality of burn?
no clone doesn't do quality scans. Nero will as long as your drive supports it

Just a little sales information for people who don't mind Verbatims and insist on DVD+Rs:
mort81 has already given you the scoop on Newegg.com, which is an amazing online store, and my personal favorite. They often have great deals on Verbs. However, Buy.com also sometimes runs some awesome specials, and they are running one now. Take a look here to get the absolute best buy I've seen on DVD+Rs after rebate (which is actually pretty small - The discs are a great buy even without the rebate!). And yes, there's FREE shipping on the order. Don't get me wrong, if you want the absolute best discs, I still consider TY to slightly outperform Verbatim, but from practical experience, I have nothing but praise for Verbatim as well. They market an amazing DVD+R.

thats pretty good deal for the verbs, but the only catch
is rebate required. however, its verbatim rebate so most
people shouldnt have problem getting it.

@Yujenh: I've mailed in at least 3 Verbatim rebates so far, never had a problem with any of them, and they tend to be a bit faster getting them out than most (usually less than a month after you mail it in). Of course, if rebates aren't your thing, you can always wait for a standard sale, which will sometimes get them down to $15/50, or even $25/100 (not sure if I've seen $25/100 without a rebate, but maybe...). The great thing is not paying shipping or having sales tax, which saves a few pennies per disc right there.

Yes siree Office Max yesterday 100 Verbs for$11.64 with 5 ink carts. Then OM again 100 Verbs for$14.82 with 4 ink carts trade in. Went to 2 different stores the first one would only take 5 Carts and used the other 4 at the other store. Grabbed the wrong bag when I left for the city otherwise wouldv'e cleaned up a little bit better. But making another trip this weekend with the bag of 30 carts. Chris

I've got 2 HP's and had some Lexmark and Dells and everytime I see a printer in the trash I take out the Carts.If only they'd take the Epson carts I'd really unload.Chris

They don't take Canons or Epsoms because you can buy the carts online for less than the rebate. I can get generic Canon BC6 carts for $1.59 even cheaper if I buy a set.

I know that I've been wrong before but I wouldn't count on docTY showing his presence any time soon. The last time I chatted with him he said that there wasn't much to help with anymore. That's the condensed version and cleaned up a little but more or less what he indicated. I would love to be proved wrong again tho.

i did get a pm back from docTY lastnight.. kinda odd he must have known we/i was talking about him, he got right back to me just after i sent him the pm. like he was useing his JediMaster part of the TY force. and yea i doubt he will be makeing that cameo we were hoping for...lol but as you guys know he is doing good. in th emiddle of doing a build for his dad. yup high end stuff the only way doc would do it..lol
hope to get my new drive liteon LH-18A1P oem. today might be tomorrow though its in louisville now only a hour 1/2 away.
i got these 8x+r mij sony's(ty) im wanting to get in that puppy...
if i may quote Al Davis(kinda) JUST BURN BABY!!!! instead of just win baby...lol all you Oakland Raider fans know what im talking about...lol
