Must be kidding.......
It took that long to do all this.
Why don't we just go & buy the game instead of spending hours figuring out what will work, besides after said & done this will probably be good for this game.

I've had the game since Wednesday, and everyone else making back-ups are supposed to as well. I'm just waiting for a HDD fix.

It was between 2:00 and 6:00 am and I wasn?t exactly at the top of my game at that hour. But most of the time was taken up by the progs. running.... I have a decent comp. and is pretty fast but someone with a gig of ram will obviously get through these steps faster then my 512mb. But I personally enjoy the challenge. Best of luck.

Djmunchee,
So this does really work.
I hear some say that apparently some feature called
"Movie trailers" will not work, do you have this problem.
But I guess as long as the game works A-Z that's all it counts. Now lets see when they'll find fix for GT4

Just like to add that in order to build the iso using apache to make sure that the GODOFWAR.iml and .ims files are in your ?\GOD folder. So in your ?\GOD folder you should have the .iml and .ims files, and then you should have your GODOFWAR folder with all your game files in it. I had put the .iml and .ims in the GODOFWAR folder and it wouldn't work but now it is. Much thanks to JMak and Sonix for this.

The command Jizmak mentioned to get it to work should be like this:
Make note of what you named the folder you used.My folder was named GOW,just an example.Place the folder in a directory like C:\ for example or D:\ , E:\ whatever your main harddrive is.When you are done, click on the Start buttom at the bottom left of your computer. Then click on Run... which will bring you to a message screen.Inside the Run message in the white area type in COMMAND lower case though not caps. When it opens up it will give you a dos prompt screen saying something similiar to this:
C:\DOCUME~1\OWNER>
this is an example of what it brings up for me might be different. When this comes up type this in:
cd C:\GOW\Extracted
When you type cd C:\ this is the harddrive you are going to use. When you type in GOW this is the name of the folder you are going to use,and the Extracted part is the folder that contains all the .psw files which everyone will end up typing in.If done correctly you should end up with this:
C:\GOW\Extracted>
Now Jizmak gave you the line to use which is del *.psw to delete all the .psw files in the Extracted folder.Just type this in and wait for a minute or two
C:\GOW\Extracted>del *.psw
Make sure when you type the del *.psw command that there is one space between the DEL and the *.
This is how you delete the .psw files in the command prompt.I thought I would add this in if anyone is having trouble trying to delete the .psw from dos.I have to agree with Jizmak it speeds up the process a ton.

If you click "Start" and then "Run".
then type cmd
It will bring you do a dos prompt where you
then delete the .psw files.
the command for the bonus files would be
del bonus??.pss
Much easier that way.

Yeah true Jizmak, but I did experience some troubled people when helping them out on Sonic Heroes man. When you type in command it works on all the Window versions. The cmd option works on some Window versions I think it depends to be honest bro.The Bonus.pss files command should work like a charm also.I don't doubt it,and I definately would like to see what Sonix is working on at the moment.I wouldn't be suprised if he revealed something like a GT4 tool.I wouldn't doubt it to be honest.I knew something like this would come around though, just a matter of time.

I dunno if this is good or bad but got to a part where it won't stop loading. I'll try it on it's side and see what happens it is in the The Cliffs of Madness man why does this game have to be DL. Actually as I was writing this post it actually load after 3-5 mins. One game that is really good cause so many problems curse the DL PS2 games

beside using dos to delete you can also use the search function. Open the folder where all the files are including the .psw and .pss files click the search on the tool bar, this will search only in that specific folder. Type in .psw in the first box and click search. it will report all the psw files u can highligh all and delete. then do the same with the .pss but might wanna be careful when delete cuz u only want the bonus files. Hope this help for those who are uncomfortable in dos

Yes it is possible, but not at the momment still. You all remember Toxic solution right.Well they are implementing that into the DMS4 mods, which would be the Toxic OS V0.3.I think alot of people have already heard about it,but they are actually about to release it soon. That means if you wanted to backup GT4 and God of War on Dvd+R DL media it would be possible with that bios for the DMS4 modchips.

Hey Jizmak,
Your info has been very helpful. I was wonder for the step on transferring the list of files to cdvdgen. What should the correct order of files be including the .PAK file from layer 1? Thanks.
