hello people i am new to this o well i was wondering like i guess o all ps2 games it says dvd rom so does that mean DVD+R or DVD-R or what does that mean and i would like to know how to make copies of these games the easiest and bestest way to do it and could sumbody tell me the whole proccess on how to do it plzzz i would greatly appreciate it and what kind of discs do i need to put them on?

Queastion if heve Burnout3 and when i try to use DVD Decrypter it gose halfway then it stops then it says that it cant save the files so what can i use to make a backup i've tried Alcohol 120% and Nero but if i burn it it starts up i get the playstation 2 logo and thats it HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!

help plzz well people i use DVD Decrypter and i do everything yall have said to do but when i try to put the file on the disc the file is to big so does anybody know whats wrong?

Hey guys.. i have DVD Decrypter.. i am trying to burn a backup of Need for Speed 2.. i patched in the DNAS code with image patcher.. Now when i try and burn the .iso file onto the DVD-R it says I/O error! Cannot write Medium- Incompatible Format ... i have sony DVD - R discs.. is this the reason it wont burn? thanks for the help

I assume ur talking bout burning PS2 games. Yes they all need to be burned to DVD Disks, except for the ones that were originally on CD. However it is possible to DL PS2 games online, and in that case, they can be a DVD image, or 2 CD images.

well i am trying to burn fight night 2004 wich is old lol and i am using DVD Decrypter and now i know to used dvd discs not cd discs so i think i know what is wrong and how do u know what kind of chip u got in ur ps2???and do u need a certain chip to burn ps2 games cuz i got the new slim ps2 so i dunno what kind of chip it have

hi there ive been trying to burn a back up copy of crash and burn for the ps2 with no joy tryed number of different discs and dvd deycrypter can any body help me burned it at 1x speed still saying not a valid ps2 disc does anybody know what im doing wrong ?

for verbatim DVD-R which speed should I buy? ss2trunks said this is the best one for ps2 backups, and that burning at 2x gives the best results. But what speed of dvd-r's should I buy? Just the usual 4x?

I burn all my discs at 4X and I get awesome results
AMD Athlon 64 FX-55, MSI K8N Neo4-F Motherboard, Creative Labs T5400 5.1 Surround Sound Speaks, Pioneer DVR-109 16X DVD Burner, MSI GeForce 8800 GTS PCIe GFX Card, 1 GB Value Ram.

I'm not asking speed to burn at I'm asking max speed the media will support. Which speed of verbatim dvd-r's is most compatible with PS2?

the new verbatim's come in 1-8x speed just picked some up at best buy you cant buy them at a certain speed they all support 1-8x

Max speed of media is labelled on the disc. If it's 1x - 4x then 4x would be the max etc.... However your burner should also be able to support the max speed of the disc. Any speed verbatims are compatible with the PS2.

hi all
i have read what u said but it is no help to me at the moment i have a dvd burner Nero 6 andwhat i think what is a ps2 game but it is not like the described as they were .000 files and it said io had to join them so i did using join 16 now they r one file with the extension .xxx can some1 plz help me
ps i am pretty smart at computers
