Yeah I don't use -r's either, just started as a preference years ago, since it never gave me any type of problems I just stuck with the +r's

Well since I started with - R that is my preference. However I've had no problems with either + or - R formats. I do burn more - than + though.

true true true. i myself was a +r person only. only trying a few -r's here and there. a friend sent me 100 -r printable verbs and they have been awesome!!!!!!! i have about 15 or so of them left. the next batch of disc i buy will be the -r's. preferably some 8x-r Ty's.

cincyrob- Yes I too Started out as an -R person !!! I tend to prefer The DVD+R's So I can Booktype them With My Liteon's Now & my BenQ 1655 in my previous Computer! Though The whole compatability issue isn't as bad as it once was ? With Newer DVD players Being Able to play nearly anything round with a hole in it short of a Bagle or Doughnut ??? Though The Higher end units sometimes seem to have more problems with Roll your Own ( BURNED ) disc Then the Cheaper ( ahem !!! Less Costly Units !!!) Go figure ? In any case I tend to use DVD+R's For my Movies and -R's for the Grandkids, Family ect ... And Assuming we're talking apples to apples here ( Comparable quality media ) I have'nt really noticed any great diffrence ! Media quality is more of an issue IMHo as long as you stick with quality stuff your gonna GET'R Done Ciao !!!

well how $42.99 for 200 8x-r valueline TY's sound? gotem on sale at meritline.

Oh that debate again... ROFL.. :P I think the failure rate is 2x that of the premium or something. ;) So that's around 1% or whatever. :D I wouldn't have any issues ordering the valueline... as a matter of fact that's all I've ever ordered... NOT one failure btw. :D

meritline is way cheaper right now than SMS on all TY media... i think you all just twisted my arm enough to hit that big red buy button....lol

damn Scott. sorry to hear that.. i know how that hurts. i just found me another job a couple weeks back after 6 weeks without a job.

Well I just bought some as I still have a job for now... we'll see how bad it really gets with this NEW idiot in office. lol. :P

Sorry to here the bad news Zo... hopefully like Rob said with some prayer you can find something soon enough. :D

These should be the TYG02 discs and they are just fine with me... at $21.50 per 100 I can't beat that price in town for MCC 004's or anything else for that matter. :D

Good luck to those in need, whether it's discs or a job. ;)

yup for 600 premium 8x-r's SMS does have the better deal. meritline has them for $165 for 600.

getting the 200 wont be a problem but i gotta talk the wife into getting 400 of them...lol
