$50 for 200 -r's why wont they give that deal for +r's.dang double dang....

Haven't chatted w/ the GOOD Doctor in a while... Last time I did he wasn't doing much besides working and sleeping. lol. Said he was looking at a new build later this year and the X48 chipset was #1 on the list.

not as good a deall as the 129 for 600 disc , but these are the premium line TY's $54 for 200 disc plus free shipping

Good grief those are expensive bratcher. ;)
I'll stick with buying Verbatim DVD+R (MCC 004) if I need the +R format. :) You can pick them up on sale at most B&M stores for $15 + taxes a 50 pack... :)

Yes well I prefer inkjet printable media. Most of what I've bought is the -R type either Verb or TY 8x. A little bit of +R....

I have had over 600 Ty -R ink jet from sms in the past few months and not had one defective disc. I think they are the most reliable on the market and sms the cheapest.

That's good news.... I've had NO problems with the disc either. WELL NOT from the discs at least. I like to experiment (speed and ODD drives) so I've ruined a few in the past. ;)

I am using Tayio Yuden watershield printable CD's and DVD's in a Microboards PF-Pro Printer. For some reason, whenever I print an image with black it slowly turns to a teal color. This only happens on the watershields, not the regular printable TY's. Any idea what causes this? Anyone else experience this?

its time to get a kick start to docTY's thread.
i posted these over in the scan thread,but. this is the reason you buy Taiyo Yuden media.
same disc different drive scanned with.
its fun to play around with different media and see what can do what. but it all falls back to this.A-1 stuff right here. you'll never go wrong with TY media.
man i should be a salesman for them or something. See Ken your rubbin off.....lmao

Nice scans, unfortunately I picked the wrong (Lite_On, not the NEC) Optiarc20X and the scans are no where near that good.
Edit: What were the discs burned in-what software program?? ImgBurn, Decrypter, NeroBRom, cloneDVD, DVDFab etc. I use the TY T02s.

they are the same disc. it was burnt with the Optaric 7200S. then i did the first scan with the 7200S. saw what good score i got and decided to scan it in my LH-18A1P drive.(i think thats the best scanning drive there is. just my opinion.) and got a even better score. well not overall score a 98 vs 99. but look at the PIE's and PIF's the 98 on the litey has way better numbers.
i ws kinda getting worried cause all the burns ive been doing with my new drives havent been that good...but ive been useing some shady media..lol ritek R05 and F16 coded stuff,some MII verbs,and the new style MIT verbs...
like i said i got lucky and found my last 2 TY's and burnt them and this is what i got.
think im gonna order me some 8x+r TYs. there hasnt really been any kinda deal for them.... they all have been for the -r media...not that is bad.i know i have just been burning a nice batch of 16x-r printable verbs i got as a gift.. and they have been getting some real good scores also.. i remember docTY saying the -rs will get a couple points lower in the scores compaired to the +r so you gotta look at it that way also..a 90-93 on a -r is like a 95-98 on a +r.
dang i guess im gonna have to go to the hound pound and hunt him down and ask for a cameo over here....lmao

oh yea i used clonedvd2.disc to disc....on the fly

Friend of mine took me to Sams Club today, he wanted to check out some tv's, I found verbs there, 30 bucks for a 100 pack, dont have to tell you what I did.
