I am answering all my questions in relation to your situation. First and foremost, the pandora battery. IF you have access to a PSP running a Custom Firmware or firmware 1.5 then you can create a Pandora Battery and from there convert the battery back to normal for regular use. Otherwise if you do not have access to a custom firmware PSP then you must do a hardware/physical modification of your battery to make it into a Pandora Battery. This physical modification is reversible only if you are VERY good with a soldering iron.
Quote: how i make my battery a pandora battery and my memory stick a jigkick?
I will tell you how to prepare your memory stick and battery once you tell me if you have access to a custom firmware PSP.
And the file cee43ja1 is referring ot is a file that you can create before converting your battery into a Pandora Battery. If you choose not to create you can still convert your battery back to normal.
If you want here is a excellent guide which walks through the whole process of physically alterting your PSP and also explains how to convert your memory stick into a JigKick without a PSP, you will though need a PC w/ a memory card reader for that part.
Ok...didnt see this post before until now but anyway my PSP is stock with the 3.71 update. Can i use the Lumines game to downgrade to 1.5? Or is there another way to downgrade my PSP to a 1.5? Thanks i need all the info i can get bc i got alot of psp isos id like to play.

PeaInAPod has been giving clear instructions. we will continue once we know that you have the things needed. we would be confusing you if we just posted.
first, lumines. you cannot downgrade with lumines. it only works on 3.11 and 3.50. you have 3.71. scratch that off the list.
second, pandora's battery. you can use it as a normal battery again, once you're done, IF you don't use the physical modification.
before you start asking about how to create pandora's battery, do you have access to a custom firmware psp? yes or no

Please, listen, of course you can use a Pandora to downgrade to 1.50, that's the whole point, that's what it does, what else would it be for, why would we have told you about it unless it DID downgrade to 1.50?

A Pandora battery works on ANY fimware, so it doesn't matter if it's 3.71 or 3.50. Plus there would not be a downgrade from 3.71 to 3.50 in the first place, could you inform us as to where you saw this information?

I'm done with this thread. Andrew78 you haven't answered even half of the questions I have asked you. How do you suppose I should help you when you can't answer my questions? I clearly told you there were ways for you to downgrade and that I would walk you through the whole process. And then I gave you a link to the process I referred to. And yet you continue to post thread after thread of useless crap. I bet that 100% of the threads you search for and visit that deal with something like "How can I downgrade my PSP 3.51+,3.6_,3.7_??", that everyone of those threads will have in them somewere something of this nature "Currently the only way to downgrade a PSP with firmware 3.XX is via the Pandoras Battery Method. This can be done 1 of 2 ways....". Again I'm sick of what feels like wasting my time with this thread, I post questions. They don't get answered. I offer links to guide you and demonstrate the Pandora Battery process and you disregard my advice, wander over to Google and search for "How to downgrade a 3.71 PSP to 1.5?". See ya guys later, good luck Shokz.

and this is what i was referring to:
before you start asking about how to create pandora's battery, do you have access to a custom firmware psp? yes or no.
See....that confuses me then u say thats what pandoras battery is for...is it for a firmware psp or a custom nobody made that clear yet.

pandora's battery is for any psp. BUT it can only be created on a custom firmware psp IF you want to use the battery again. your psp will not work. that's why i've been asking, do you have access to a custom firmware psp?
you've been looking at other sites, when we already gave you the same answer. we're telling you that you can downgrade your 3.71.
also, you need to identify correctly.
Originally posted by Andrew78: ...is it for a firmware psp or a custom
firmware is on all psp's. if it's official firmware or custom firmware, say official or custom, NOT firmware.
there is only one downgrader that works for 3.71, and that is pandora's battery.

Andrew78 as for us "not explaining bleep better", please explain to me how in the two posts of mine I quoted below how I could have explained anything any simpler.

Yeah if you have a really sharp razor or a fine set of cutters laying around cutting it will work just as well.
@Andrew
Alright Sony 3.71 allows you to play UMD games, surf the Web, and basically do what Sony allows you to do. The firmware that end in OE, M33, and LE are what are called Custom Firmware with the OE/M33/LE just representing the name of the PSP group that released the firmware. The main advantage of custom firmwares is that they offer you a great more deal of flexibility. Such as using plugins to extend the function of your PSP, using Cheat Programs for games, playing ISO's of games, and much more. Doing all this was possible on the early Sony Firmware 1.5 but Sony then released 1.51 to not allow people to do this. But through various methods people were able to revert/downgrade back to Sony 1.5. But when being at 1.5 you lost a lot of the features of the newer Sony firmwares such as a internet browser. So talented coders designed and released what we know as custom firmwares. They are basically a mash up of Sonys' latest firmware and the special abilities of Sonys' 1.5 firmware.
About Pandoras Battery. When in the "Pandora Mode" the battery will not be able to be used regularly, but you can convert it back to a standard battery. Since you obviously don't have a PSP there are a few ways to go about getting a Pandora Battery and JigKick memory stick. You can either buy a premade battery/memory stick off eBay or you can create them yourself without a homebrew enabled PSP. But creating the battery without a homebrew PSP means that instead of completing the process completely through software you will need to modify the battery itself. Doing it the hardware way means you more than likely return the battery to normal.
And this....

Wait, so you managed to find a program that software mods the battery without a custom firmware psp???
Oh, and in answer to the "we don't explain things" bit, yes we do, you just don't seem to be able to grasp what we tell you, or mis-understand information we give to you.

there are only two methods on how to get pandora's battery
1. use a custom firmware psp and create it there
2. physically modify the battery
if you bought the datel tool battery, then you wasted your money.
you say there's a program that can modify the battery without a custom firmware psp. prove it. post the link.

You'll need to get the game Lumines to be able to do the downgrade to 1.50, or you could use a Pandora Battery if you have friends that are already on 1.50/CFW.
