thanks PeaInAPod!

i think i have the sony 3.522, so does it mean i dont have a choice to have modifications on my psp or to play downloaded games and i'm just stuck with the conventional games using UMD? as for the iso playable firmware, i dont think i have that also coz everytime i format the mem stick, no iso folders are created.

if i still have an option, mind sharing it...thanks again.

Just to clear up this fact, playing ISO's does not depend on the homebrew kernel mode. The game transformers requires firmare 3.40 I believe. So to play it your are either going to have to update to 3.40 OE-A or to 3.51 M-33. Out of the two I would recommend you stick with 3.40 OE-A as it is more developed. There is nothing seriously wrong with the M-33 firmware but it is still a bit buggy.
Hiya Bro Pea,I heard with this version 3.51 M-33 we no need put UMD in psp.Is it still a bit buggy with our psp?

p/s - my psp v3.40 oe-a

Wait for a downgrader to come out, and until it does DO NOT upgrade your firmware.

@tembadau
The M33 firmwares aren't "buggy" per-se but they are not as customizable as the OE or LE firmwares. So if playing without a UMD is more important that customizing your XMB then go for M33.

@navpsp
Who are you "talking" to?

@josiesuk
The homebrew/emulators should have two folders, both will be named nearly alike but one folder will have a percentage % sign on the end of it. Put both these folders in the GAME150 folder. Also for emulators were the ROMS goes depends on the emulator. Need any more help let me know.

@josiesuk

You can play emulators on firmware 1.5, but a custom firware such as 3.40 OE-A or 3.40 LE is a better option as you get the complete capabilities of a higher firware along with the ability to save from a brick along among other things.

Yes, CFW does all the things that 1.50 allows you to do (and a lot more).

gpSP runs faster, try that, though you'll need to find the file gba_bios.bin you an get that on filefront.

Ok, you need the gpSP and gpSP% folders (of course) get them from dl.qj.net if you don't have them (use the search box).

You also need the gba_bios.bin file, get that from filefront.com (search)

The gpSP and gpSP% folders go in your GAME150 folder, and the gba_bios.bin file goes in the gpSP folder. Thi is also where you place your ROMs.
