There is a nationwide problem with N** similar to what happened in the UK last week. It will come back.

Hi guys. Mu cousin has had his box for 2 months under his bed, it has not been opened at all. He is currently waiting for Virgin Media to be installed, then he will fit the box. The only problem is that, he has is thuat he believes that it is possible for the box to die as it has not got the critical update! I disagreed straight away but i thought i ought to make sure. So can a 2008 box that has never been used die from not having the September software?

Just updated my own 2008 box with new sotware. Looks great. I also have 2 other 2008 boxes, but they only have the September critical update. Can i leave them with the critical update, or will they die if i do not have to have the October software!?

If you have the new software, then update any boxes you have, anyway the new software is deadly. Its a pity they didnt release an upgrade for the 2007 box.

It is a unifed loader/firmware so just connect pc to ev with a null modem cable and download the file to the box. This is only for the 2008 Max V.

No they wont but as you can see the new update is a major improvement so why not update them.

I posted it above earlier. You do not need a loader as all new firmware for the Eurovox is unified as in the loader and firmware are combined in one file.

If its the rs232 cable it will not work , you need a NULL MODEM CABLE to do this
