yeah, the layout.
Starting with the radiator on the back of the case (if it fits), then the processor, then chipset, then both video cards, and then into the pump and then resovior.
I am just not sure if I really want the pump/resovoir at the end of the system...

wouldnt running all of that on one loop be a bit too hot?

mmm, I hope not. I think (and hope) that the system I am getting is top of the line, with the duel 120mm fans in the radiator... I was originally going to get the Gigabyte galaxy II, which has 1 120mm fan in the radiator. I steered away from after reading some reviews online on how it didnt change the temps from the stock cooler.
But I think it will do ok, it will be in a antec 900, so the extra air cooling should help.

Seriously, water cooling kits are bunk compared to doing it properly yourself. Swiftech may have made a relatively good one, but you could still do better yourself. The Apogee block is good, but I'm certain there are better rads out there.

So you think I will have problems cooling everything?

I couldn't say. Two graphics cards means a lof of heat. Cheap rads can't deal with a lot of heat well.

I think he means it's a two slot card because it makes more heat than a one slot card so it equals more heat in his water.

Hmm. I'm thinking "8800GT, single slot. HD3870, dual slot".

Well I just got the waterblocks for them, the swiftech MCW60 w/ ramsinks. The 3870s and everything else hasn't arrived yet, I think it'll be here on Thursday.
I do think is pretty good system, I mean it's one of the most expensive on newegg, so it better cool my pc pretty well! I will be satisfied if I can get under 55C for everything, although that is pretty hot. My tidewater does a good job of cooling my gecube, it never gets above 50C on high.
But anyways, are there any other configs out there you guys would recommend?
This is kinda the setup I hope to be doing, only add another graphics card and chipset waterblock:
So the radiator on back, pump on the bottom, etc.
EDIT: Here is what they suggest on there site, for my exact setup
Reservoir discharge to pump inlet ? MANDATORY!
pump discharge to chipset cooler inlet
Chipset cooler discharge to VGA cooler inlet
VGA cooler discharge to radiator inlet
Radiator discharge to CPU cooler inlet
CPU cooler discharge to reservoir inlet

Be aware that high temps on the CPU and GPU will cause high temps on the chipset too, which may not be able to deal with heat so easily. Bear that in mind.

Waymon3X6,
Their way seems to be best, so I would do it that way. Their routing makes sense to me! Wish it had cooling for the reservoir!

Waymon3X6,
The way Swiftech recommends! Had they thought to cool the reservoir and made it like another radiator instead, it would be a lot better! Plastic is just not a good conductor of heat!

Ahh, good point! Just drew out a picture of what I want on a piece of paper. I followed swiftech's directions, and it actually makes sense.
I wonder what the temps will be... Should I post the results when everything's finished?

I'm sure that the Ambient temperature will have a lot to do with how effective the Water Cooling will work. Truthfully I don't think it will be a whole lot cooler than if it had a Thermalright Ultra on it instead! Biggest benefit as near as I can see will, be the chipset and Vga cooling! By all means post the temps. We all root for you anyway! LOL!!

haha, ok, I will. Everything should be here by thursday, I will probably be done by Friday.
I have a Antec 900, and the ambiant is around 20C. I think I have good wireing inside, but then I'll have to tear everything apart and start over. The 1/5" tubing might cause some problems, not sure how big everything is, but at least I have a game plan!
I will overcock the Q6600 G0 to 3.6, and then 4Ghz for benchmarks, as I see other people doing with ease in other forums.
I hear the G0 version runs cooler? Is this true do you know?

Waymon3X6,
All the CPU's with the GO stepping are supposed to run cooler. My E6750 runs very cool. 20C ambient you shouldn't have any problems cooling anything. We've had temps in the 5 to 10C range recently and nothing even gets warm. and it takes forever just to get up to room temperature. Right now the temp outside is below 9C and getting colder! It should be interesting to see how the temps will be when it gets over 25C out!
Best Regards,
Russ

1/5" tubing? Wow, that's small. UK water cooling systems use 1/4" tubing most of the time from what I've seen. A lot of the time americans seem to get dumped with 1/2" tubing, it fills the case and doesn't even seem to cool as well.

Yeah, I will. Hopefully I can get everything in there. Btw, is that a pic of your own kit or someone elses?
I got the 3870s today, well kinda. I left my dog outside and he scared the mail person away (even though he is extremely friendly), so now I have to go pick it up in another hour from the post office.
The watercooling might be here today, along with the other stuff from newegg (PSU, Ram, HDD).

Just got all the stuff in today, except for the CPU and mobo. The CPU is coming on Friday, and motherboard is being shipped from Canada, and according to the email they sent, it wont be here till 1/02/07! (I cant wait 13 days for it!!)
Here are some pics, I'll take some more of each part later.
The workspace with the 900 and radiator, with some hoses...
The 2 3870s with the waterblocks and heatsinks on
Power supply, the CPU waterblock and Ram
Antec 900 with radiator on, and rough estimate of where the pump will go. The hard drives are in the cages. Top one is a IDE, bottem 2 are Satas, the farthest down being the Raptor.
More to come in a little bit!
EDIT: More pics:
The CPU waterblock:
The power supply:
4GB of Patriot DDR2 800 ram:
The watercooling stuff, with windows vista ultimate x64 (not shown is the 3.79L of distilled water)
