Try this!!!! I am not sure if this is the right tools you need as I have never used them before. I just saved this link to my favorites when I found it a while back. Anyway, I hope this is what you are looking for. If it is not what you are looking for I am sure someone will post it.

Hi there,
I have been reading through all the forums and trying to backup some PS2 games without success.
I'm now trying Athens 2004 again burning at 1x speed using DVD Decrypter and dvd-r media.
I have a Grandtech Premium mod (sure not many of you have heard of this chip) basically it was all that was available at the time when i bought my V3 PS2.
It requires a boot or swap disk to load backup games. I'm using the MagicSwap dvd.
Alot of people are talking about the swap method. Normally when I play a backup game I insert the magic swap dvd, hold the reset button down till the led goes red then hold the reset button down again until the magic swap dvd loads and I get prompted to insert disc. At this time I release the reset button and the tray opens giving me about 5 secs to swap to the game disc. I hit the start button and tadah! The game begins to load.
Now I have tried this method with backups of pirated games I have bought from Asia. Unfortunately it doesn't work. I get the pink border.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what might be the issue here? Do I need to load the backup in a certain way? From what I have read no patching of the game is required. Help!

does anyone know where to download the newest gameshark, action replay and codebreaker images?
will i be extracting these files?
what software should i use to burn them?
can it be burned on a dvd-r 4.7gb? or is it a dvd9?
sorry for the questions, i'm new at this

i am going to get a dvd burner very soon which one
should i get that will copy ps2 games with dvd dycrpter and is around £45

hi... Need For Help! am pretty sure u get this a lot Sorry for the inconvenience
i just wanted to knw if some1 can help me, by telling me how i can burn ps2 games on DVDs with Nero 6
i know how to burn image files Such as .cue,.nrg,.iso,...
but these one are different they don't contain image files they come with 2 folder usually
Driver & Module
and 3 other files
1 the first file is called SYSTEM the type of file is a SpeedDial
2 .CVM
3 .59
i red many forms but i couldn't find anything about how to burn those type of files.

Say kevsev,
What was it that I helped you with? The link to the programs I found or what? If so share with me and others how and what you used to do what ever you were doing. I have never used those programs before and If they worked I would linke to know how and what they are used for. PLEASE explain!!! Thanks in advance.

Man I would like to help you BUT, You have come to the best forum in the world about burning anything and you have not read it. GO BACK and READ posts from pages 1 through 6 and then if you have questions then maybe someone will help you. That is the most annoying thing. You post your questions but dont even bother reading anything. Everything that I have learned about burning games is from this thread(pages 1-6).

To wolfvane,
Go to google and search the internet. Type "find PS2 version" or something. Be creative it is out there I promise. You dont need a modchip!!!! You can get a fliptop case and the swapdisc or the swap card and the swap disc. The burned game will not work without a mod chip or the other options discussed. I recommend a flip top case and the swap disc. A one year old could set it up and use it. Second USE DVD Decrypter to create the ISO file you need and Nero to burn it(read pages 1-6 for instructions). Now someone has answered your question. The reason know body answered your question is because they get tired of repeating themselves.

So Can i just use A DVD-R Burner and no dvd rom? I could just use the DVD-R Burner to copy the game to the computer then put a blank CD into the DVD-r Burner and burn the game. Can i do it that way?

no man listen to what i am saying...... a DVD-R burner IS a DVD-ROM aswell.....so do everything you said except you have to burn it to a DVD-R disc (not a CD) remember DVD-R burner = DVD-ROM = ability to burn PS2 games onto a DVD-R Disc........if you do not understand that...@#$%^&*()_+..... :D

wayne_t i need some of ur help again sorry if its anoying. but iv read some other fourms and some say some ps2 cant read dvd-rs mines a version 5 or 6(30003R) will it have this problem?

go and buy yourself a PIONEER 108 DVD REWRITER.ABOUT £50. WHETHER OR NOT YOUR PLAYSTATION PLAYS DVD GAMES OR NOT SOLELY DEPENDS ON WHAT MOD CHIP YOU HAVE FITTED.

Hursty,
This is was is so annoying. Nobody bothers to read the threads before they post questions. The answers to their questions are already in the posts but they just want to post a question and have someone give them the answeres. Well learn to read people. Again, I have not had any trouble burning or playing the ps2 games that I have backed up and it is because of this forum and this thread. THE ANSWERS LIE WITHIN!!!!!!!!!

it depends on what chip you have.........just get a + and - burner and it will solve all your future problems.
