doesnt dat need a UMD inserted?i dont have a UMD :)not even 1,does the fasrloader work for a 2.5game

yeah dev hook needs a umd, you shouldn't need a umd for fastloader

hey,eternalis, i my syphon filter is almost done downloading. Alright so i open the psp/syphon filter dark mirror folder with the 14 files and i just click on any of the 14 and add it to the winwar archive?

HI,
Ok sorry if this stuffs allready been answered but i keep finding parts of what i need to know but they contradict each other, Quite confusing! Anyway i downgraded my psp to 1.5 about 2 weeks ago and i ripped backup copys of GTA LCS, Burnout and PES5. but i can only get burnout to run.
i have tried using devhook and umdloader and so far no luck except with burnout, can anyone tell me how i can run the ISO's of GTA and PES, someone told me it was because they require 2.00 firmware to run.
Is there a programme i can download that runs ISO's that requitre firmware of 2.00+ and how can i do it?
Your help would be greatly appreciated!

im not sure but fastloader works for me. you should be able to boot those on that new dev hook, go to psp-hacks.com and chek it out on the front page. Also, are these all convereted to iso format? if not use umdgen.

i dunno if there converyed to iso or not? i used fastloader to rip them to my memory card then i tried to run them! Have you got GTA LCS running i get some error code FFFFFFD3 or sommet like that

do you have the umd of gta? or do you have an iso, im going to give it a try right now i'll post if the umd works on dev hook or fastloader.

gta works fine on dev hook .40 sample launcher, its the one with wifi fix so you can get online, like socom etc. I used my umd of course but havent tried the iso yet. The umd didnt work on fastloader though. Fastloader isn't very good to run umds, dev hook is much better, My settings on dev hook to run the umd are : umd select-umd disk, umd mount-umd disk, umd version-2.xx->2.00, firmware-2.5-+2.00,cpu-333, boot select-rebootxmb. i got gta working but it plays very slowly and is juddery i this the same for everyone or have i done something wrong

Try increasing the clockspeed to 333MHz.

thats better but its still abid juddery, its whenever the memory stick light starts flashing, seems to happen when i move fast in a car or run about.
When i play my burnout iso though the memory stick light hardly ever flashes!

Is your GTA ISO compressed?
If it is, it wont lag as much when its decompressed.

i dunno tbh! i put my gta UMD in the psp and then ripped it using fast loader. then it created a file wiith no type in my iso folder, so i renamed it gta.iso and ran it on that new dev hook thats all ive done, am isupposed to do something else before i load it?

Nope. Its not compressed. I guess DevHook is just slow on some games.
However they might release a fix soon, so keep your eyes open.

i have a question about the prx can some one give me a clearer xplanation on wats it for..im not much of a tech guy..hehe and y cant i run games on devhook 0.42?it either restatrts or tells me that gam could not be started, i wanted to try NARUTO out..is it because my psp is from china??help would be much obliged :)

Hi i have backed up metal gear solid graphical novel. But i cnt get it to run can someone give me a itructions. coz i read about on how to start this game on some other forum but every time i follow the instructions it just crashes my psp. Can someone tell me how i can make this work
