The time problem can be fixed by~
1. unplugging the unit for ~30sec's
2. switch it back on and go to time settings
3. using GMT-1 or +1 set correct time.
4. once time is set you now switch of GMT.
5. then use blue button for save and exit.
this normally works first time but may take a few attempts.
make sure to adjust time as per step 3 first.
As for the blocky reception this is most likely caused by connections not being 100% but you could probably try to change the TP strength first.
1. When viewing channel in question press info button twice to find out which TP frequency it is on.
2. Press menu, installation, user installation. enter pin.
3. Press Green Button, then blue button to modify.
4. Here you can try to adjust your freq a bit to see if you may get the signal strength that bit stronger, i.e. adjusting 315.000 to 315.500 may bring the level and quality from 70% to 80%.
5. If you find a better signal then press OK to save.
6. Now in the screen that is left displayed you can press ok to enter
a tick mark beside the TP you just updated.
7. Once the tick mark is beside the TP in question now press blue button to update the channels on this TP.
If this does not work,
now I would start hunting my connections.
Also optimum signal strength is achieved when the unit is the first inline connection from your service provider's 4 point external hub.
i.e for best results make sure the box is there is no splitters etc between the external hub and your box.
Hope this helps.

Try adjusting the freqs that these stations are on eg.change 291.00 to 290.750/291.250

Greets to all. have eurovox 2008 in central scotland on n*l cable broadband. Been having problems when power scanning, ive tried differnt symbol rates and freqs from differnt threads but to no avail, have not been able to receive any channels even though signal quality is high. Anyone able to tell me correct rates/freq or where im going wrong would be greatly appreciated. Ive been struggling with it for a while now and its starting to do my nut in, cheers

Check to see if your signal strength is fluctuating up and down.I found when this was happening when signal was weak.Leave it for a while and try again.Usually sorts itself out.

Clondalkin should be fine Ogg, does he have a subbed box and is that OK. What comes up on the EV? May be a cable problem.
