ok go into the menu installation and scroll down to the S/W Update and press ok to that and let the box update to the latest file available let me know then

ok no do factory default go to menu installation >>> factory default then turn the box off at the back of the box for 30 seconds then turn it back on then auto scan provider top bottom left to network then green button

after that you should get a list of net id pick your one if ya dont know it get it from your subbed box to be 100% sure you are on the correct one then press ok after the scan is finished connect up your ethernet cable and that is it

JUST MAKE SURE YOU ARE ON DIRECT FEED NO SPLITTERS WHEN SCANNING YOUR BOX

scan on your old provider and make sure you are using the correct symbol rate 6952 not 6887

pick your net id or nearest area and press ok let the box do the rest thats it

after you see this screen you will get another with a list of areas

when its doing a t/p search its looking for your net id and when already exists comes up that means its not picking it up for some reason.. your sure your connections are ok and you have your cable feed on the top connection on back of box ?

trying to upload the a780 but i think i'm doing something wrong i'm on wireless internet with vista done everything what you guys suggested on this page but when i open the stb editor, loaded the file kryptview from desktop choose com2 click start and after few mints its giving this msg (THE DOWNLOADING IN NOT RESPONDING) i got everything connected cable from the router to box as well please help!!!!
