Hi,

I have the a780 and I have uploaded all the channels but I am only getting bbc1 2, itv and other terrestial channels. All other cable channels just say the message scrambled or no video. Although it does display all the cables channel names as if they have have all been scanned it still displays this message, could this be because the internet feed to the a780 is on a splitter at the wall. I have ,my modem and router along with the desktop upstairs which then feeds downstairs to the splitter.

I do have homeplugs but I haven't used them yet because I need an rs232 to efthernet connector to get from the back of the a780 to the home plug.

Correct me if i'm wrong but I thought other A780 owners on here stated that all you need is a broadband connection because that's where you get your channels from. I have read quite a few threads on here saying that so why would I need to have a min sub.

All channels working now. I managed to sort out my home plugs and did a factory default and now they are all working. Thanks again for all those who replied to my questions.

Yeh I found the black sticker a few days ago and realised there was a lan connection at the back. Anyway all is fine now so happy days.
