We want the game to work on ps2, for PC move to that thread. I badly want this game to work with swap magic 3.6......has anyone had an update re. sonix's involvement??

dont waste your time and disk's on this game just yet
it has some heavy,and i mean heavy protection on it,mapped out throughout the image
unreadable sectors everywhere..
working on it now

for the people who are saying rebuild the game - what use is rebuilding the game when it will require the removal of some decent protection never seen before? Rebuilding the game will not remove the protection as the ORIGINAL itself will not boot (most if not all modchips) if a modchip is installed.
Keep us updated with your progress. If the protection was limited at the start menu, technically you will be able to swap the original for a backup (unless the game has an eject check, however there isn't an eject check since when you put the original back in the game continues to load up fine). So obviously there are checks throughout the game. The game itself is so dodgy.

Hmm i know you who arnt intrested in the pc version are gonna have a nut but with the nfo version(for the people struggling to copy the pc version) Read over it and carefully follow each thing it says because this method basically ingore's their is a protection and makes it like 500% more possible to get a succesful burn.
And the protection on this game has something to do with the dumping of the source files that are needed to boot with the ps2 and swap magic boots its own source files so it has something to do with the skipping of the first part of loading a game.

Please guys lets keep to the PS2 version, we arn't interested in the PC game. Dan_87 is right.....all of the rebuilding methods do not work. I believe this game is going to need a patch of some type. There must be someone out there with the skills to help us out! I wonder if more games will be released with this type of protection?
