Thanks for the guide! It worked out pretty well, but I still have a problem. After following the guide closely, I managed to get the CFW with my Pandora's battery. However, my PSP only seems to turn on when I put in the battery after I put in the MS. Also, when I do that, my PSP only boots up the upgrade/nand dump thingy when you first try to get CFW. After that, a decided to format my 25 mb MS. Now, my PSP won't even turn on. The Green light flashes, but I still have a black screen.

Did I do something wrong?
Did you convert your Pandora back to normal???
And do you still got the backup of your eeprom...???
Wait...what? Was that in the guide? Please tell me that I didn't have to do something BEFORE I took out pin 5.
Actually it isn't you must someway put the pin back(solder it or something...)
:)
Oh Shoot. I lost the pin somewhere.... Anyways, are we supposed to get rid of all the files from our MS after we downgrade/ get CFW? And also, since I can't find the pin, if I buy a new battery, will I have to cut out the 5th pin again, because my PSP already has CFW. And one last thing, my PSP seems to work if I take out the battery, put in the charger, turn it on, put the battery in, and then take out the charger. Can I just do that instead of getting a new battery?

You can if you want, but I advise you to keep those files incase you brick your PSP.

Don't cut the 5th pin of the new battery - leave it as it is.

You can if you want, but the PSP won't be portable anymore because your battery requires the AC Adapter. I advise you to get a new battery.

Thanks for all the help everyone. I think you should add to the guide that you need to put the 5th pin back into the battery after you are done with everything, kikzm33z(or whoever made the guide.)

I didn't put in that you should place the 5th pin back because it's recommended to get a new battery.

I'm not sure if you can backup eeprom with a hardmodded battery...
But to backup eeprom you:
Run Pandora's Battery Creator.
Press the triangle button.
Wait until it exits to XMB(PSP menu)

And 4GB will not work. Anything higher than 2GB will not work. I think that you should use 128MB - remember, magic memory sticks can be used normally without it being formatted.

ok now i am stuck.

You must run windows XP to create a MagicMS on an OFW PSP.
May I should add that.

kikzmeez, I think you forgot an important thing in ur guide, that if you hardmod the battery, u must have a spare battery, or u must unmod it to boot in its normal state.

To make the magic memory stick for use in conjunction with the hard-mod method, do I absolutely need the totalnewbi installer or can I use the Pandora's Ultimate Magic Stick Installer?

If you have OFW, and you're going to hardmod your battery, then you must use the TotalNewbi Easy Installer. You can optionally hardmod your battery, create a MagicMS from this guide then get custom firmware - then you can place the pin back into your battery then format the memory stick you're using as a MagicMS, then install the UPMS.

When using this guide, you can flash to 3.71M33, but not 3.72HX-1 because the TNEI was created before the HX CFWs came out.

yes you can. datel says their tool batteries work with ALL psps. So with that in mind, do you have a slim psp or a fat one?

out of curiosity and the fact that i have no money left to get another ms
why wont 4gb ms work? its funny that i have a 64 mb ms and a 4gb lol but yea why wont they work? is it that noones tried or the first person to tried failed and so everyone sez they fail now? or is there a reason?

the 64 mb could work, but the 4 gb MS could have an error.
