Ive been trying to download the files from the tutorial since yesterday but none of the links work. Is there any other mirror that works to download?

Is it only for me that none of this works?
They all work pereftly fine. You must have some sort of secuirity setting that is blocking the download links.

So once I have installed the 3.71 M33-2 CFW then I could go straight to the m33-2 update?

Thanks!!

lol...thanks. I didn't mean to sound like I "assume" you can go to the -2 right away. I sort of meant it as a clarification question :)

For the ppl who are suffering with the line: "windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.", I figured out that we have to UNINSTALL (not turn off) AVG in order to get the start.exe working. Gluck

Thank the author of this thread for the amazing guide

How's it going larrylje, quick question. Is it me or my memory stick. I was able to do this universal unbricker twice, but i only have 1gb ms, so i format it again so i can use it but when i wanna do this universal unbricker again. it just stops too soon and its not writing any files on my memory stick. i kept getting stock on choosing option 4, after that it goes straight to mentioning the creators - ends of writing files - nothing is written on the stick. got any idea? cheers~

Try formatting your memory stick like i did on windows. Try all sorts of formats since i couldn't get it to work the first time.

For people using AVG now, I suggest you turn your internet off, quit AVG then use it. After that turn AVG on, then restart Internet connection. It worked for me.

Note: AVG gives tells you there are virus and spyware and such. Please remember that the magic memory stick creator is a HACKED thing.

make sure you didn't move any of the creation files, if there missing/moved it may not work... so either re download it or move any moved files back into the original folder.....re download to be sure:D

thanks Death and Tripple, it's me, and yeah i managed to write again but thanks for the reply.i tried other pandora gui and it worked but not to 3.71 that i want. its for downgrading. what i did is used that then replace the whole enchilada with the extracted universal.rar, then i hesitated using it. so redownload the whole files from here again and worked again. tought it was a glitch on the easy installer cmd.

Appreciated your response.

Cheers~

Ok right now I'm borrowing a Datel Tool Battery but I have to give it back before I can install this on my friends psp so question, if i left the files it said to delete on the memory stick would it screw it up when installing it and in the read-me it says that on a psp you have to like load something by holding (left trigger+right trigger+home+start) after it shut off so let me get this right after it shuts down by its self i turn it back on and hold (left trigger+right trigger+home+start) is that right of not tell me what to do.

Just follow the guide on the first post. No where does it say to press all of that in the guide. That is if you want to restore the NAND to the PSP. Since you evidently don't know what your doing stay away from pressing all those buttons. If you happen to flash the wrong NAND to a PSP you can permanently damage the PSP.

You have created a Magic Memory Stick using a custom firmware PSP that has a custom theme. You need to revert the XMB theme to the original 1 before creating the Magic Memory Stick. Using a PSP that has a custom theme on it will create a Magic memory Stick that will load a semi-bricked firmware.

If you have AVG that is blocking the EasyInstaller.

If not you must have the RAR files inside the EasyInstaller as well.
