The latest DvdFab update that came out today, December 1st, is supposed to be the fix for it. I won't get this movie until it is released so I cannot verify it until then.
Some assembly required.

What that meant was we know they won't work but maybe something we might try would, to just make it a challenge-hypothetical only. Just putting a disc in and pushing the ripping button isn't much fun anymore. Spending an evening getting a tough nut done is SO rewarding before all the updates have fixed the problem!!

Sony buying out Fab or AnyDVD would definitely mean admitting to defeat. Also please don't give Sony any ideas even though they're not that blind to not know about both proggies. If they were to do that we'd be f...ked. Lightning UK buying out Fab n AnyDvd? Sounds like a plan even though there must be hundreds of ways that those of us are using ImgBurn.
I think Sony's got they're hands full w/their Blu-ray campaign that isn't coming off as expected. They're target is until 2012 so believe me buying Fab and AnyDVd is like a spec of dirt compared to how much they've invested in that.

LOL. Dont worry man. There will ALWAYS be programmers such as anydvd and FAB. Just for the sole reason of Sony SPITE. I have nothing against sony but, alot of people seem against them in the worst way. And of course there are the programmers who like a challenge :D

Huh... thats interesting. We could be in for some changes in the next few months than. Unless sony realizes that they are just waisting their money. A computer made the code, a computer WILL break the code!

plus remember they have to make the encryption of the DVD so they are playable on a DVD player , which has been an on going problem with Sony

Quick question, off topic, how do you disable AnyDVD without removing the program?
Hard to believe, but my old old 321 DVD Rescue backs up just about anything thrown at it. But, having trouble lately and I suspect a conflict with AnyDVD

right click the fox-head in you're traybar and disable

just needed some advice
i had problems last week with Wall-E
my burner would burn the movie with Anydvd and Clonedvd but would not write to my media
tried to trouble shoot, got new media(went from a HP disc to a Sony disc) did not work
so i thought it was my burner, have had it for 3 years
bought a new burner
now i am trying to make my backups of Step brothers with the new burner, will burn movie but three different times it has gotten to 74,84, and 95% and had media error
is it my media,the encryption on the movie, or my PC?HELP!
i have wasted so many disc it is not funny
i just changed my AI scanner to enable always as recommended by binkie, trying it again as i am trying to get other help
i gave up on Wall-E though, it was driving me insane
i like sticking to clone and anydvd too, i have never really used any of the others successfully

1st you couldn't of burned when you explained your case in the 1st sentence. You backed up then couldn't burn. 2nd if drive is new and still problems and erroring out at those percentages then either it wasn't completely ripped or you could have crap media, or but unlikely and can't be ruled out, the burner isn't working w/your media. Try movie only. Then try ImgBurn in build mode to burn the vts folder or convert it to a .ISO then burn w/ImgBurn. You could even use shrink w/ImgBurn and AnyDVd. Just to rule out media TYs and VERBs. If other than full disc works out then read the WALL E thread. I had no problem in Movie only w/Fab and burning w/ImgBurn. Region 1. If you don't have Fab just use the free trial.
When you go to war the more weapons the better equipped you are. A knife at a gunfight ain't the way to go. We have 2 big guns. Don't get crazy. I know how it feels. Been there. Just backed up TDK w/new beta of Fab n ready to let ImgBurn go to work.

Did not have any problems with any release this past month with clone & anydvd, did do Narnia today, that sucker took like 9 minutes to load, but after the load, no problem, can't wait till the 9th and see how Knight works.

Hi Fred. Just ran TDK through Fab movie only. Like butter. I must admit though I have a hair trigger and have my sight on AnyDVD.

Wow! Not even released in the US yet. Amazing how many pages there are already. Lol, I had the Narnia disc give me a considerable load time as well. Not 9 min(More like 1.5min), but...

ok what i meant was ..
the movie will lad as if it was ripped, it will successfull creat dvd files , then when i load a blank media in it will then fail at 64% or so.
here is my anydvd summary:

hey hi there dr_ml422, so I gather you had some success, good for you, after reading on one of the past pages there was an update for anydvd, I didn't get the pop-up notice though, strange, anyway did the update this morning.
As many know we here in the states will not get Knight till the 9th, others already have it, I'm just assuming did you Brit people already got this thing? I always thought in the UK the DVD's came out a week later than us, when I was in the UK in the summer of 07 my friend took me to one of your blockbuster stores, I asked for a certain movie and was told it was not out yet, but it was out in the states, the young man said they get thiers later, thats why I'm kinda suprised you guys are getting them earlier than us, maybe things have changed, oh well whatever, anyway good for you guys.

p.s. some movies come out before the U.S., most seem to come out ages after you lot, there doesn't seem to be any consistency to movie releases at all
