How should i set the number of connections?
I use 1 Gbps connection
global max? max peers/torrent? upload slots/torrent?
max_half open and bt.connect_speed?
I use a lot of times to set about diskoverload. But still don't know what's the best setting about connection.
thanks in advance. :)

that's the racing file with the others,so we must stop the other files to prevent the diskoverload.
Normally the average upload of all files was about 1.5-3 MB/s

thank you . Just confuse a little with the speed guide,it's look like there's a little differrent between 50Mbit and 100Mbit and there's not 1 G ,so i multiply it by 10.

You need to remove the link in your sig. Promoting pyramid schemes isn't allowed here.

Hey, Thanks alot for the guide! I just found it, and tho I'm probably already pushing the limits of my connection, I'm always trying to tweak things a little bit more. Its cool that you took the time to lay this stuff down with some good links to help out other peeps. Also, I noticed in step 2 that you divide by 8 and then multiply by .8 to get your Global Max. I don't know if anyone pointed this out in the thread (11 or so pages is a lot of reading at nearly 6 AM.) but that is 10%. So if your 358 (358 x .1 = 35.8) then your Global max is 35.8 or 36 rounded up, if its 450 then your GMU should be set to 45. The steps are so easy, just figured I'd point out how to simplify them even more.

DVDBack23, Thanks for the guide. I've used a Azureus for along time and after reading your guide decided to switch to utorrent and try it. HOLLY SH^T I wish I would have know about this along time ago. I have never been able to get download speeds of more then 35-40 with Azureus. I was downloading a ps2 game with Azureus for almost 3 days and it was only at 47%, But with Utorrent and downloading the same ps2 game with the same # of seeds and peers as before it finish in 14 hours. Good bye Azureus and hello Utorrent. Thanks again.
