Well not so mate, use the same bitrates or even select your filesize and it will still surpass anything that PSPvideo9 spits out.
Remember the native player in the PSP only runs a maximum of 78600 pixels, where as PMPMODAVC runs 130560 pixels alot more sharper, i dunno bout you but i,d rather be running 130560! ;P

It is true that xvid4psp takes time but it's also true it's AMAZING quality but considering the fact xvid4psp takes up more memory and time psp video9 gets my vote for fastness and efficientness but when referring to QUALITY there's no doubt it's xvid4psp if you got memory to spare

Has anyone tried using DVDFab Platinum 3 to convert a movie to PSP? If so, what do think about it?

SUDDS
I'm new to the PSP and I have a 1.5 version. I'm interested in watching my DVDS on the PSP and read your comments on the XVID4PSP. I downloaded it on to my desktop but when I went to open it Windows stated that it could not open the file. I have windows XP any advice you could give would be appreciated. Cheers.

Uninstall it then reinstall it, NET2 must be installed before it.

I'm having a lot of headaches right now trying to convert some DivX movies to psp format... i have used the Super program to convert it to psp format but the most i get is a "format not recognised" message (or directly, there's no movie to watch)...
The PSP it's downgraded to 1.5... Maybe that's the problem, so if anyone could tell me a good program to convert DivX and XviD movies to PSP format, i would be very grateful.
Thanks a lot in advance.

SIMPLE! use xvid4psp for awesome quality but a lot of memory stick space or the best for most users is PSP video9 takes up less memory stick space and is pretty good quality but not as good as xvid4psp

I got my 2 gig for $69.99 at initial price. I had to have it delivered so plus tax and delivery cost was $82. It wasn't from ebay or any online store. I got it from Futureshop lol.

Got my 2GB for $59.99 at Best Buy. It's SanDisk (instead of Sony) but it works fine O_o
...Unless you wanna pay $100+ for the equivalent 2GB stick that has the words "Sony" slapped on it...
Save yourself some money -___-"

For Mac users they could probably place the non-converted movie into iMovie. Then click on share and then Quicktime format (yes, i know peoples! PSP doesn't accept .mov format) which converts the movie to MPEG4 format because Mac's use videos in MPEG4 format as the basis for Quicktime. This absolutely works for converting internet movies from Windows Media Viewer format to Quicktime (MPEG4) format for viewing on the PSP.
Hope this helps alittle bit...
