Not at all ikari_t!
With PSPvideo9,s atomchanger, encoding at any other fps for AVC other than 29.97 may result in audio lag. But am not sure...see i had atomchanger whenever it came out, and when encoding at 24fps and run through atomchanger it was out of sync. But a guy from DOOM9 recompiled it so any resulting file run through it, converts it at the fps of the input file. :)

Hey Sudds I tried that MeGUI thing out and extracted all files and try to open any .exe files i could find and said Application Failed...then gave some memory number i think and i even tried again and extracted and same thing am i doing somethin wrong? thanks

Thanks a bunch and people talk about Nero recode and how it's good for the psp so you won't get audio sync issues but when it converts it to mpeg 4 then file goes from 4mb to 14mb after that should i then convert using MeGUI or psp video 9 thanks for your help again

So with MeGUI i can have the best quality and the lowest amount of space? and i don't need Nero recode?
EDIT: oo ya and how do i learn AVI synth or w/e you were talking bout?

What firmware are you running Dan?

Well forget about MeGUI for the mo mate as it dont support PMPAVC which is an app that allows you to play ful res 480x272 AVC movies on your PSP.
DOWNGRADE NOW!! ;)

LOL i will i will but isn't there anyway to make it full resolution on 2.6 with psp video or anything? and i am supposed to update files on that MeGUI right cuz it said available updated files update now and i clicked yes
EDIT: oo ya do you have any AVI synth scripts that i can get from you that make the video full screen with the best quality at the lowest cost of space so when i do get 1.5 AGAIN i can use that script to convert my videos? thanks

You see theres the catch my friend, you can,t play full res X264 480x272 AVC movies on a 2.60 machine, but you can play full res XviD or DivX movies on it using PMPMOD (different than PMPMOD AVC) or PSplayerMT, but theres the other catch, XviD or DivX is not nowhere near as good as X264 (H264) downgrade now mate and reap the benefits of full res AVC!

ooo i'm liking this sudds thanks sooooooooooooooooo much i'm upgrading i mean downgrading lol as soon as i borrow gta or somethin anywho you gotta program to like make the movie a smaller resolution w/e the full screen of the psp is 480x272 like my movie is 720 by 520 or somethin any program that won't mess up the audio sync or quality or kbps so it will be 3000 or under like you said so basically just make the AVI file smaller resolution exactly as it was? thanks soooooooooo much sudds

thanks again and i wasn't gonna ask anymore questions 'till i read that forum that you gave me with the app. on it and someone said on there i thought it worked with 1.5 and other person said 2.01 and up if you use psp avc format. So does that mean i use this program you gave me select psp avc format then follow the video directions and the beginning of this forum and it will play it? (but that can't possibly be unless this program converts to mp4 or w/e mpeg 4's are lol) thanks soo much

Xvid4PSP 4009 is out now mate so get that instead.
Its simple to use Dan, i,ll glady walk you through the process. ;)

ya that'll be fine thanks much. sooo basically i just want my AVI files to be converted to the full size of psp screen with same quality same audio issues which my original AVI's never have and basically i use this to convert them and then the PMPMOD to play them right? thanks again

PMPMOD AVC there is a difference between the two, you can play your AVI files as well, as long as they are within the specs i mentioned up the thread. But your better off converting to PMPAVC.

WUT!! why? i wanted to do PMPMOD cuz doesn't that use AVI files right ok all i want to do is make my normal tv size AVI files go to my psp and u said PMPMOD took AVI files sooo w/e u think is best but just explain whichever one u think is best and why. cuz i'm really confused now...thanks much again lol

It all depends what codec is used to convert and the container its wrapped in.
AVI files are most commonly known to use XviD or DivX codec.
X264 is an engine that uses H264 AVC to encode which is way better than XviD or DivX.
PMPMOD plays AVI (XviD, DivX) movies.
PMPMOD AVC plays H264 AVC movies.
Its entirely your own perferences, but i,d encode with H264.

Yes you can convert your AVI files to H264 AVC, but to get full res 480x272 you have to convert to PMPMOD AVC which Xvid4PSP will do.
PMPMOD AVC only runs on 1.50 firmware.

ok so if you could basically just tell me the programs i need to get full res. on psp and where i can get them and wut they do like PMPMOD AVC?? is that to play them or encode them? just lemme know the programs i need thanks a bunch
