Sony said PS3 will be no part of CES a long time ago.
At on eof the latest gaming show, GI reported that all of the devs had trouble and were complaining about fitting their games on one DL DVD 9 GB. Ther eis no argument, because A. It makes snese to anyone who knows about video games, and space B. X05, all the Devs complained, 9GB was NOT enough
Fanboy is a term used to describe someone who is utterly devoted to a single subject. This generally is followed by the devotion and support even when proved wrong.
Anecdotal, by my definition, it's the way too many people here think. It's also all the evidence you have.

i need an HDTV soon. im probably gunna work at arby's..
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

Fight night was nice good graphics but your hands get tired trowing the punch combos I also dowmloaded quake 4 demo, alright but I will wait for Halo 3, to me halo is alot better. If you don't have HD the graphics are not as good .I am sure the Ps3 will be the same that way you are forced to buy HD tv to get good game play. Its a win win for sony buy the system then you have to buy HD tv to get the most out of your system,same with MS.

Quake four is not meant to be too good, a bit of a let down seeing as i loved the others. Yeah I saw bill gates keynote speach before CES and firstly fight night is looking beautiful can't wait to play that one myself. Along with windows vista and this cool screen which was just like a glass panel and covered the width of his desk,like something off minority report (screw my samsung hd tv i want one of those!). Anubis I would get a HDTV definitly (as you know already you need one to get the best experience you can from these new consoles.), but if you are waiting for ps3 release then it could be best to wait until ps3 comes out cos they prob will go down in price.
Now consider this guys, this is not some fan boy comment what so ever but something definitly worth taking into consideration. I don't know if this has been said before but as you know ps3 uses blue ray right, okay so what if the next new type of media isn't blue ray but hd dvd because of higher cost mainly. So movies will be released on hd dvd and that would leave ps3 owners having to buy a hd dvd attachment to play hd dvd movies, same applies to 360 owners. Now this is all hypothetical, but definitly possible and worth taking into consideration.

LOL, Why are you all choosing to ignore that a few weeks ago Japanese MS head spille dthe HD-DVD external player beans and the Gates made an official statement that there was no intention of using HD-DVD???
Now they announce it. What filth, lies, cover-ups, over th eworst decision they ever made. They still promise that games will always be on DVD ( First years games already occupy 4 DVD 9GB), do you believe them, or do you think in a few years games will be in HD-DVD as well, and all the people who bough the first 360's will be forced to buy and HD-DVD drive????? I DO, Microsoft is a dirty monopolistic company and this is the first time I have ever cared because it is effecting me.
PS3 will have a BD-R drive righ taway!!!!! And better hardware for $400!!
How can you put faith in Xbox and Microsoft anymore?? I almost want to go downstairs and spit of my 360 with a soon to be worhtless obsolete DVD drive. Then what I get to pay $100++++++ for a HD-DVD drive??? WHen PS3 already has next gen optics?
How many years do YOU think it will be before Xbox 360 is HD-DVD based and you are absolutely forced to buy the HD-DVD drive at the usual inflated accesory rate???
Not being enraged leaves YOU three positions
1. YOU are ignorent or in denial of the eventual full adoption of HD-DVD disc even for games.
2. YOU are a complete fanboy
3. YOU have no intention of purchasing a 360

This is funny. The hardrive for xbox360 costs like 90$ doesnt it? LMAO, imagine the HDTVHD. 200$?
Have fun, xbox360 with hdtv is going to cost.....500+$

now more and more things for the 360 are coming out. most of the things you would need are not included, such as an hd-dvd drive orgininally installed, wifi originally installed, a larger hdd for media content. together these will totall over 350 dollars extra to pay for on your 360. bringing total cost to over 750 dollars. hey now you want an HDTV for a non hd system. theres a months rent. hey now you need some games, there goes another 120 bucks. now a controller for a friend to play with you, 40 bucks i think for that. now, excludint the tv if you didnt get it, your up to 910 dollars.
(all done in USD)

the net doesnt know the ps3 cost yet. i imagine it at $450. but keep in mind it has wifi, something that if you get for 360 would make it $500. the xrd ram is the fastest ever for home use. it also has bluray, a new, more expensive drive, with an endless game canvas. all in all, who cares if its more? its worth it to pay the extra 50 for the extra hardware.
"omg the console costs more so imma go with a cheaper one with nothing in it." say so many people who dont think.
