I am not a fanboy right now if everybody would open thier eyes look and tell me where is the Ps3 system everybody is talking about hmmm
where are all the games and crap anubis 66 spouts off about there is not one tangible object you can put your hands on to compare at this point in time I don't care about 6 months from now I talking present day. I have my Ps3 reserved I did it the night i picked up my 360,I make the stupid post to get a rise I guess it works.Point being until sony gets it system in order and provides a launch date, a solid date,I don't care what everybody gossips about, the only thing we actually know is Sony has dropped the ball just as bad as MS just pray they wont release a halfway system just to compete with MS.
Let me also add if there is a fanboy it would be ANUBIS66 the king and allknowing Ps3 fankid
I am not a fanboy, It gets on my nerves when people bash something they dont own or play I can't bash the Ps3 because I don't own one(no one does) and I haven't played one(no one has)

Logically Sony will not allow an inferior competing product to launch AFTER 6 MONTHS AFTER, the competetor. SOny will ensure PS3's hardware and feature rich superiority to the Xbox 360. It doens't take a Genius to figure this one out people.
Fanboy is a term used to describe someone who is utterly devoted to a single subject. This generally is followed by the devotion and support even when proved wrong.
Anecdotal, by my definition, it's the way too many people here think. It's also all the evidence you have.

yeah sony were saying that their console is better at e3 with the nvidia support but rumours have said that they are changing to ati same as microsoft. and now they may be changing the boomerang controller. it's bound to be better, thats why they dont say anything new about it, no release date etc etc. why did they bother saying anything at the last e3 they should have left it. and produced a final release version with playable games.

You cannot say with any proof that sonys system will be better because for one you have no proof as of the present time, but we can't say it will not be better BECAUSE we have no proof .Come on people lets pull our heads out of our rumps and listen to whats been said and not what we think they say. The day Sony gives us a finished product is the day all Ps3 fanboy's can jump for joy and then and only then can you compare the Xbox 360 and Ps3. Until then your points
have nothing to back them up. Remember your opinion's are opinion's and not fact.

be seeing as sony say nothing about it and the 360 has been around with playable games for a few moths they have probably redesigned some of the problem areas in the ps3. like being difficult to write games for etc etc

Yeah, Im not saying the Ps3 sucks , Im saying the 360 is better because its out for us to play, so as to give something to form opinions on we can't form opinions on Ps3 because we can't play a system they haven't completed yet.What my opinions are on are all the people who bash one system that is already released and praise a system which today we aren't sure what it will be.

As an owner of the 360 (premium) I can bash it all I want.
To sum it all up though, let me tell you, I am truely dissapointed.

I personally don't own a Xbox 360, but I do have 50+ hours on one and I to was quite disapointed. Every game I played felt like it was made in a few months and the graphics were so sub-par compared to the PC. With all this new tech I thought that it would have been atleast a contender for my rig, but sadly it's not. The only game I ended up playing was Call of Duty 2 and last time I checked that was a direct PC port. Call of Duty looks much better on the PC at that. I still like the Xbox 360 controllers and I like turning it on with the controller, haha. At this point I just don't see quality in the games with the Xbox 360, hopefully by the time PS3 is released the launch titles will have had plenty of time to write good high quality games and Xbox's titles will be worth playing. I'm excited for Gears of War, that game looked interesting. I hope they release it on the PC. Oh and Unreal Tournament 2007. Oh My God. My final word, I don't care, I'm not buying either. PC RULES!!!1

Dev kits dont matter.
They dont give you the ps3
The current dev kits that are out there is the p4 2.4ghz cpu withs ome graphics card which is not the rsx. The same dev kit was used at ps3 e3.
They can have any graphics card in the dev kit. Heck they can have a dev kit witha geforce 6600 inside, but it can still render games on the ps3. They can have anycard that is'nt bettere than the rsx inside the dev kit. If they use a better vcard, it woudnt render properly. It would be laggy and everything. Maybe 30fps. why do you think pc games can go on every pC? (well pc's that can render the games)
Just because they use a different card in the dev kit, doesnt mean that the ps3 doesnt use the rsx. THE DEV KITS AR'nt the PS3. Soon they will have dev kits to show ps3 at 100%. (well that actually have the RSX. They didnt change anything in the Ps3.
Anyways who cares. I'm prety positive that the xbox360 dev kits dont use the xenos either. THIS WOULD EXPLAIN WHY IT ONLY USES ONE CORE.
Final point. You guys are getting worked over nothing. With the geforce 72 line comming soon. (the 512mb's) The graphisc will look 50% better than xbox360 & ps3. THIS JUST PROOVES US THE PC'S DOMINATE. lol
Why are you guys bringing up this debate anyway?

so you are thrashing me for an apinion i have about halo because i dont like it as much as you think i should? i said, to me, it will be ok. the 1st halo was ok but then the levels got repetative like that bridge level. halo 2 was better than 1 in my eye by some.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

Anubis I have your actual words saying that It WILL be okay, not saying in my opinion or to me it will be okay, don't try to twist it.
As for the power issue, which has been mentioned over and over, It takes time for developers to get used to dev kits and come out with the really graphicaly impressive games. Look at fight night, look at gears of war, look at huxeley, look at war devil, see my point. I have, like i said earlier in this thread, links to not only 360 biased reports saying the 360 is equal/slightly more powerfull but seemingly neutral reports saying this and even the creator of metal gear hideo kojima say's they are both powerfull and pretty equal, why would he say such a thing? Now these articles (which I can give links if you wish) tell me that the power difference between the consoles is fairly minimal and wether 360 beats ps3 or vice versa in power its going to be hardly noticable.
Now onto hd dvd, microsoft did NOT say they would be using it for the 360 games so any other comment that it will be is just speculation. Blue ray IS better as I have repeatedly admmitted but as i have tried to show having games on dvd will not impair the game as far as graphics or sound go, and is no major deal.

As far as games go, sorry if this has been said already, I didn't take the time to read ALL those pages, the best games for the xbox came out very recently. It took awhile for developers and game makers to expoit the full potential of proper game writing for the specifics in the xbox. It will take time for them to do this with the 360, so expect to have serious kick-a55 games in a couple of years. Once both the 360 and ps3 are out, and have been for a couple of years, then AND ONLY THEN, can a fair comparison be done. AFTER the games take full advantage of the systems.
That being said, XBoxLive is the one thing Sony cannot compete with.

Again as I said no proof, speculation. Okay sony said/suggested killzone was running on ps3, no it wasn't it was fmv even kookoo say's so what does that say about the power of playstation? And what does that say about the sony spokespeople?can you trust sony? Yes they have their fair share of lies no doubt about that. It might be used for games, ime not saying it absolutly will not, but again that would be speculation not fact.

KZ2 cant render on a 2.4ghz CPU, with a card which is'nt the rsx.(actually worse than the rsx) Do you not get that? They prerendered it, so they can show what the ps3 is capable of.

Over all, the PS3 and Xbox 360 are both going to be great systems, it is mostly depending on waht type of games you want, niether companies are dumb enough not to put good things into a new machine.
