ok Anbuis let's see here, 500 for PS3 console alone...wow spendy, anyways 90 bucks a game. could almost get 2 360 games for that, a hard drive that isn't include at least 150, becuase they come is 40 GB or 80 GB models, o ya and let's not forget that you need a wifi adapter..atleast 100 there, uhh lol 360 wins!!

are you homosexual? they will not be 90 dollars a game. they will be 60 dollars. a bluray disk
is not as expensive as you think. manufactioning is more limited right now but there are
several new companies producing them. plus they only need one injection molder insted of
two like dvd. the bd-rom will cost like a dollar more than a dvd shortly. and nothing is said
about the hdd yet so you can include that. either way i have like 2 2.5" hdd's lying around
and a dead laptop with hdd still in it. plus http://newegg.com , the leading source of cheap
computer parts, has 2.5's as low as about 40 dollars for a decent size.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

dood my friend says his friend who works for Midway says the dev kit now includes an ati card, and he also informs me that sony is switching from nvidia to ati. he also says that ati is developing an even better card than the one designed for the 360. i know it sounds stupid to make a choice like this, but the change has occured sometime from the tokyo game show and now. could this be true? could sony switch to ati?

I'm Anubis's friend. And I'm here to clear some things up.
#1. Xbox copied the dreamcast controller FUCKING DUH.
#2. Perfect Dark Zero sucks major testicles.
#3. PS3 has a built in WI-FI Xbox does not.
#4. All three consoles will be using different ATI chips, but are all using ATI none the less.
#5. Xbox uses DVD's which is fucking stupid. Because consoles don't "instal" games they need to take up much more room than on a PC because the data is organized in a less efficient manner due to the slow transfer speed.
#6. Bluray is faster, higher capacity, and not much more expensive than DVD's.
#7. Games will be 60$, however this may change for all consoles and PC.
#8. PS3 will have a hard disk. Without one it wouldn't stand a chance.
#9. Xbox 360 shares its system memory with the GPU where PS3 has dedicated memory to both.
#10. PS3 uses XDR memory which will run at an incredible 3.2GHz non DDR speeds. For all you noobs your standard pc3200 pc ram runes at 200Mhz
#11. Makers don't get just one dev unit. Sony has been sending updated units closer and closer to the release specs, so anyone who claims to have a dev unit and makes opinions judging on it alone could very well be wrong.
#12. In the latest dev unit ATI is being used and that is proof that sony will be using ATI for the launch because as you should know ATI uses software rendering techniques (eew) and to create a game that will run the best on an ATI and then change back to the RSX last minute would be silly.
#13. MOTHER FUCKING BLUETOOTH!!! Xbox uses 2.4GHz wireless, and the last time I checked so does every other wireless device.
#14. Backwards compatability, haha who the fuck needs that, I DO!
#15. Xbox does NOT have more memory than PS3. Xbox uses shared memory so yes, it does have more system memory, but considering 256mb's of it are going towards the graphics, theyre the same in memory ammount.
#16. PC will always win bwahahahah and more importantly ill never post here again. later noobs.

i think the blue ray games will be about £60 a game as a blank 23gb disk is £30 when theres nothing on it. when you add the game and pay production costs, case, manual etc it will be more than a 360 game.
i remember buying tekken 2 for ps1 it was £60

Howjord, I know a man who works for Midway games, and starting shortly all newly released games that would normally sell for 50 will be 60 dollars. Also, Whatever the release cost of the PS3 will be, Sony is'nt going to be making much of a profit on the system itself, but rather the games. If you think about it the PS3 will cost much more to manufacture, but considering that they have to compete with the Xbox they will have to keep it within a hundred dollar price difference. If games become rediculously high, no one is going to buy them and Sony will make almost no money. Now if the market wasn't as ignorent as it is, they could afford to put a higher price on the console and perhaps even better hardware, but to many people can't get their heads out of their asses and stop trying to compare an Xbox to a PS2 and with that thinking logically the Xbox 360 will be better than a PS3. I mean isn't that obvious. hahahahha NO. Xbox was released almost 3 years after the PS2. Last time I checked the PS2 STILL has better sales in games and consoles than the Xbox. Not to mention it still competes graphically. I nut myself everytime I play "God of War". Sony did not do as well as they expected they would with the PSP in America and it's safe to say the PS3 probabally won't do much better, but in Japan no one buys an Xbox and everyone and their mom has a PSP. If Microsoft would have been thinking, they would haven't even bothered launching in the east and focused on the UK and US. Then maybe we wouldnt have such a shortage. The Xbox sucked on launch and so did the 360. You'd think they could get it right the second time. Oh and Halo fucking sucks.

Xbox 360 is the fastest selling game system to date by june 4.5 to 5 million units are to be shiped xbox 360 is the best system out right now as of today 1-6-2006 there is no Ps3 system to play /with no launch date set. Face it ps3 Isn't the big dog no mo it is a little puppy about to get its ass beat for messing with the BIG DOG!

eureka21 my gammer tag is DADDY HALL I'm new to online gameing. all i played was the demo for quake 4 it wasn't a bad game I just like the best HALO, for all you fanboys sony can't touch HALO and it dosn't suck you guys are just jealous you don't own XBOX360

hey chimpanel i am gonna get the same HDTV you are getting, its gonna costa bit but i will get that one or the 26 inch version.
as for the HD drive costing a lot of money, well it will come out a year from now so when it comes out i should have recovered from xbox 360,
P.S i got my xbox 360 back from repairs, i got a brand new one, but now my stupid internet is down in my house so xbox live will not work, grrrrr.

dood are you people noobs? 7 bluetooth controllers. a bluetooth controller is anything that uses bluetooth. you could connect your phone for use as a microphone. you could use your pda to go the the next chapter in a bd-rom movie. say you play online with 4 people, now you have 3 left. make your phone connect to the ps3 and attach a headset to the phone. now you have a headset for talking online. you have a wireless keyboard? i do. i can hook it with bluetooth. and for the last bluetooth control id hook up my pda to control my linux from afar, or for moving a cursor in a game.

not everyone has all the stuff you do. why would you want to use a crappy phone mic when you can get a headset that plugs directly into a controller.
and a remote control to veiw movies that comes with a premium xbox 360
and a headset.
why would you want to ass around with 3-4 different products, when it can all be in the palm of your hand.

ok number one i was comparing sales between xbox and ps2. and number two when you say a head start? are you bleep stupid? you completely missed my point. i was mainly comparing it graphically and current sales YEARLY. As in the PS2 has been selling more units since the xbox was released. use your head. Also, dual tv support is called future proofing. and like anubis said 7 bluetooth devices. Any thing bluetooth will work. And bluetooth offers much more bandwidth. I'm not sure why they chose seven probabally some hardware limitation, but who cares. its sweet. In a few years the PS3 will be on top and Microsoft will have to release another system to beat it in 3 years. ahahaha. Thats how it works. It will be Xbox and PS2 all over again. also have you ever considered using two moniters on your pc? i use them BOTH. and did you consider that tvs get cheap. did you know for a thousand bucks you can buy a 52 inch tv? yeah. theyre going to keep getting cheaper. and did you consdier that if you bought two smaller ones and put them right next to eachother you could have a bitching widescreen setup. or maybe 7 player split screen accross 2 tvs? think about the possibilitys. and wtf are they going to call the next xbox? thats got to be the most original name ever. hey guys what do i call this thing? i dunno bill it kinda looks like a box. yeah. Just curious, IP or account banned?
Considering many people (like myself) think the multiple bluetooth feature is cool I don't think because it can support 7 bluetooth devices is a valid reason to flame it. For me the only thing to flame about a PS3 is going to be the price tag. maybe the controller. Oh and i dont like the font on the PS3. Stupid spiderman...

and look like a person that cant afford a bigger tv so you have two small ones.
yes the ps2 can do the same games as the xbox, well apart from halo, half life 2, doom 3, etc but anyway grafically the ps2 is no way near the same quality on screen as the xbox, the xbox has few ps2 jaggered edges, the xbox displays more colours etc and every game has 5.1 dolby surround sound. even though the ps2 says dobly digital on the front, hardly any games support it not even gran turismo.

omg dude. its 3 YEARS OLDER OFCOURSE THEYRE NOT GOING TO BE AS GOOD! and that is also my point, the xbox isnt THAT much better. and yes its true i didnt say yearly, but i thought it was pretty obvious that i didnt mean the total sales over the ps3's like 5 year life compared to the xbox's 2 or whenever it was released. and if you put two wide screen smaller lcd's together you wouldnt get a very big gap, as long as the speakers wernt on the side. and the idea isnt total size itd give you a much wider aspect ratio, i agree using it in that sence is a bit silly, and it wouldnt work for first person shooters. but the multiplayer across two screens still stands. i dont know what were arugueing about any more. The PS3 hardware will win hands down. even you can admit to that. So the only thing left is games and price. PC is still the best.
