Hey I was wondering if there's a command that will allow me to access the DevHook menu while in the XMB menu. Like when you get back from the DevHook menu, there will be a small menu on top of the XMB menu where you can change which iso file you want to emulate. Thanks.
EDIT: nevermind I figured it out, just pushed the home button on accident and it worked lol.

i was told that it does write to flash
is there a version that doesn't write to flash

and one more question sorry for double posting. but k ive been emulating 2.50 FW with devhook v0.44 so i can use the gta LCS cheat device and i just got gta vcs and i need 2.81 to run it, is there any way i can put devhook 0.44 and 0.5 one on memory stick because i only have one 1 gig memory stick

@supedave, have you considered upgrading to DarkAlex's custom firmware? Although the Cheatdevices don't work on the custom firmware, you can still use Devhook to emulate 3.03.
Thats my question:
How do you use Devhook on 3.40 OE-A ? I installed Devhook in the GAME folder and "dh" and "fbm" and everything. Dumped "F0" from the data.psar, but now I'm supposed to flash my PSP from the Devhook menu.

hey bakker yea i have 3.03 OE-C and yea if u read i am emulating 2.5 because for some reason i can only get it to work on that firmware but i also need 2.81 so i can run gta vcs but its an iso and for some odd reason the gta lcs and vcs dont work on the custom firmware only dev hook so i was just wondering is there is any way of getting devhook 0.5 and 0.44 on one MS

ive got 2.8 and ive been tring to install .52
but im stuck at the psar dump
icant get it to run
ive used hen eloader xloader
am i doing some thing wrong and

Hey guys I just downgraded to 1.5 and installed devhook 0.52.I downloaded a game called tony hawk proj 8 for psp from utorrent.Then i made an iso folder in root of mem stick and put the iso of game in.Then i turn on my psp and go to game then to mem stick and devhook.It runs fine and i put in the iso of the game i want to play.I then press start game and the screen black out for 5 secs then the entire psp system turns off i turn it back on and nothing happens plz help any 1 . If there are any specific settings could you list or could u give step by step instructions .thx

So here's my question. I am waiting for the 3.11 downgrader and once it comes out I am going to downgrade to 1.5 and then use devhook to put my games on it or atleast that's my idea :S. I don't have a GTA disc but is there somewhere I could download the 1.5 firmware or do I have to go buy it?

jeffschla this does not work on a FW 3.11 psp.

bakker put the folders in the GAME150 and look at my tutorial.

supedave gta lcs and vcs do work on the custom firmware.(with a UMD in the drive)
yes you can have devhook 0.5 and 0.44 on one MS.(Do not delete the old devhook when you install the new DHv52)
smacyo137 I don't think this work on a 2.8 psp.(go down to 1.5)
davidmacn if there is not 3.11 downgrader now why do you want the 1.5 firmware eboot? (look in psp-hacks for it)

Well what does a downgrader do? I thought the 3.11 downgrader would downgrade the firmware to 1.5. I'm so new to this stuff it isn't funny. I have 3 .iso games and a 4gb memory stick to put them onto but I don't know what to use. Downgrade to 1.5 and use devhook or what

basically my PSP is being very fudging poo if you get what i mean,
i downgraded and devhooked it and it worked yada ya ....
the weird thing is after a few weeks i couldnt play any of the downloaded games, after i investigated why it turns out that my PSP is not recognising actual UMD discs i put in, i mean i get the little symbol in the bottom right that says its reading the disc but it never quite gets past that point.
i can still play iso's but i wanna play some other games i have on UMD that im struggling to find on the net.
====>1.5 firmware
====>3.03 Emulator
====>ISO works
====>UMD do not read at all.
please help me i constantly find myself resorting to forums for assisstance for once i'd like to have everthing finally sorted out!
