hiredgoon, how would I use the breaker Pro with a v12 slimline?
BlindMan1, to answer your question from way earlier the SwapMagic is a pressed copy & includes a boot record..which cannot be copied by normal players.

Same way as Swap Magic. With a slim tool, flip top or tape and tissue mod. Breaker Pro is a great product btw, the only game it wouldn't boot when I used it was Legend of Mana.
7. Q. What do I need to use Swap Magic?
With Slim PS2 v.12-14
Flip top: http://www.chipzone.com/installation/playstation2/fliptop-v12/pag... Magickeys (also referred to as slide tool, slim tool or, magic switch): http://magickeys.net/ or tape and tissue mod: From Pretense: If the fliptop doesn't work, just give up on it and do a tape and tissue mod. Open up your case again and tape the back sensor (toward the upper left and beneath the hinge part of the lid) with duct tape or even regular Scotch tape (I use several layers to be on the safe side), put the case back together, and stuff a small ball of tissue into the hole for the front sensor (lower right just above the power button).

50 cent bullet proof is a Dual layer game. You need to shrink to a single layer DVD if your using it with Swap Magic. If your using it with a modchip that supports Dual Layer games like the DMS 4 or Matrix Infinity, then you can burn it to a DL DVD. Your best best is to shrink it. There is no real program or tutorial, because it differs from game to game. This is a popular game (for some reason) so look around AD, google, and there will be a guide for it. Shrinking a DL disc to a single layer disc usually involves taking out movies, extras, etc.
Lucky for you I'm feeling generous. I found this after 5 minutes of searching: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/259903 You can also rebuild it using CD-DVD/Gen
11. Q. How Do I rebuild games?
A. With Nero and Isobuster (works as long as no single file is over 2 GB's): http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/197949 With CD/DVDGen: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/210515

Ok for the last time. I new with this so please just bear with me. I need to know everything that I need in order to burn the ps2 games and play them on my Slim PS2 console. So I already know that I need (1) DVD Decrypter (2) The PSTwo Slim Flip Top Cover with Swap Magic 3.6 (3) a DVD writer which is on my computer (4) The original copy of the game so I can burn it. So is this all I need or is there anything else that I need, please let me know. I thank you for being helpful.

I know nothing of the PSP. There are PSP forums, these are the PS2 DVD forums. Post your topic in the correct forums. You don't necessarily have to have an original game 2 pack, 6 pack, whatever your name is. You can rent games and copy them or download them. Read my FAQ: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/252193

This is all posted in my FAQ. I didn't post it for my health.
1. Q. How do I burn PS2 games?
A. Use DVD Decrypter. Guide: http://www.angelfire.com/games6/easytutorial/dvddec/dvddec.html Burn at 4x on an 8x DVD-R.
2. Q. Does the type of media I use matter?
A. YES: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/3/240341 If you're too lazy to read, use Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim, Ritek, Sony, TDK, Maxell, Sony or Phillips DVD-R's. Avoid Memorex, Staples, Imation, Dynex, Princo, Bulqpaq, etc.
3. Q. Do I need some type of mod to play PS2 backups or imports?
A. Yes you need a modchip: http://teammodders.com/ps2_mc.php?ex=2 Swap Magic: http://swapmagic3.com/ Memory Card Exploit (Doesn't work with v.11 PS2 and later): http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/109289 HD Loader: http://www.hdloader.com.au/hardinstall#prepare or

How big is the image file? What game are you trying to burn? It might be a dual layer disc. Dual Layer or DVD-9 games need to be burned to a dual layer disc, or shrunk to a DVD-5 or single layer disc. Swap Magic doesn't work with DVD-9 games, you'd need to shrink it to DVD-5. The only way to direct boot DVD-9 games is with a modchip that supports them, like the Matrix Infinity, DMS 4, or Crystal Chip.

okay nowadays more and more ps2 games are DVD9.they are way too big in size and too big for swap magic.now if you have a modchip then you can play DVD9 games on it.but if you have swap magic then you need to rebuild the game.try using iso buster or DVD Shrink.but if you do have a modchip then you can burn a DVD9 but you need a dual layer burner and dual layer DVD-R.and thats it but i suggest you do the rebuilding part because dual layer DVD-R media are way too expensive.

Burn at 4x on 16x DVD-R's. Swap Magic doesn't work with DVD-9 games. You have to rebuild a DVD-9 or dual layer game to DVD-5 or single layer to work with Swap Magic. Swap Magic works well, but if you've got some money to spend, get a modchip. The Matrix Infinity, DMS 4, and Crystal Chip are all very good modchips. I have a Matrix Infinity and it works great. Swap Magic is cheaper, but once you get used to having a chip, you'll never want to swap discs again.
7. Q. What do I need to use Swap Magic?
A. With fat PS2 v.1-11: Flip top: http://www.chipzone.com/installation/playstation2/fliptop/page1.cfm Slide Card: http://www.saveware.com/SlideCardUsageAndInstall.htm With Slim PS2 v.12-14
47. Q. Should I get Swap Magic or a modchip to play PS2 backups/imports?
A. Depends. Swap Magic is inexpensive and works well. It isn't compatible with DVD-9 games. For games above 4.38GB's you may have to rebuild the iso or do a TOC refresh to boot it. This is a small percentage of games, around 5%. In general Swap Magic 3.6 is an excellent product. After rebuilding there isn't a single game which Swap Magic won't boot. A good modchip is the ultimate upgrade. It'll play PSX/PS2/DVD/CD backups/imports automatically. It's compatible with DVD-9 games, makes your PS2 a region free player, supports multi disc games, and you'll never have to rebuild a game or shrink a DVD-9 to DVD-5. The conversation about good modchips begins and ends with the DMS 4 and the Matrix Infinity. They both do everything I mentioned above. For that functionality you would have to spend $100 to $110 for a professional install. It's expensive but you'd be able to play anything the PS2 is capable of reading. If you get a modchip make sure you use one of the reputable installers posted above.
26. Q. I'm in the market for a modchip or premodded console. What are some reputable sites I can order from?
A. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/251223 In addition modchip.com and norcalmods.com are supposed to be reliable
