first off you either need DVD-R or dvd+r(no duh).dont use crappy media,use taiyo yuden,maxell,tdk,ritek,verbatim,sony.download DVD Decrypter.then insert your game into dvd drive.on DVD Decrypter make a folder in program files called ps2 back-ups then select read.it will then place the .iso in the folder you have created.then you can click write>iso.and write at 8x.and your done

Dooes anyone no if a such program "GAME CLONER" Is any good to clone and backup games because in the website it seems pretty good

if you can afford to waaste some blank dvds then give it a shot i still stand by DVD Decrypter like the most of us

i think i just screwed ^ my ps2. The lens are not reading the dvd's they only reading cd's. everytime i insert a original or een backed up dvd i get a disk error. oh crap im gonna have 2 get a new one!!!!!
I tried everything opening it up and cleaning the lens, moisturizing the poles that the lens move on, turning the white thing behind the lens that position the lens but still nothing. does any one no were to bu ps2 lens. SCPH 30001

i think you can get DVD Decrypter off of this website(its free by the way),you can get it off your p2p,or just go on google and cross your fingers.i guarantee you will find it quick;)

okay i had the same problem luckily mine wasnt severe the first 2 times but the third time it just busted. i was no match.but you mite be able to save it still.if you use a slide card that may be a problem and mod chip also may ruin it too.but i think it mite be the laser.if there's a clicking sound and disc read error it definitely is.i suggest going to your local drug store and get isopropyl alcohol then take a q-tip gently dip in alcohol and rub laser and then use the other side of q-tip to dry the laser.let your laser rest(LOL as funny as it may seem it worked for me.i treat it like a human being)try this first b4 wasting more money.save your $$$$

i tried rubbin with alchi but it still does not work i think thel ens are worn out for tryin F**KIN Memorex dvd's so F**KIN much. Just when i bought sonys the piece of S**t brakes. Dat's why they warn u dont use memorex dont use memorex my ps2 F**ked up so can yours.

Ok i need help
i bought a fake need for speed most wanted for ps2 ( u know not original) but when 'm racing its says loading everytime.
how can i fix that?and stop the loading screen everytime in teh race

thanks for the tip.i recently bought memorex unfortunately.i only bought them for for cheap so i thought i waas gettin good deal.oh well im also mad.....i feel your pain bro my ps2 is #@%!'d up too.but im telling you dont buy new ps2.either get your laser repaired for alot less or sell your broken ps2 on ebay and just write selling for parts only

oxidax unfortunately i have no solution to your problem.all i can say is rent nfs omst wanted and use DVD Decrypter to put on computer and burn it.i dont consider that illegal since you have the "original" but you need modchip/swap magic and dvd burner.

hi,
one way to urn ps2 games is using Nero. this is really easy. you install Nero and you go to copy dvd. then you select your burner and you put your original game in your dvd burner. you have to buy DVD-R which is the cheapest and works really well...so then when it says put a blank cd you change your original game to a blank DVD-R disc. this will burn your ps2 game and it works great!!!

i use bearshare for everything.it is by far the bset.i have tried limewire pro,shareaza,edonkey2000 but nothing worked as good.

ok im kinda new to this but i have been readin these forums for about 10 hours the past 2 days. i decided that i want to get swap magic 3.6 from gocybershopping just wonderin cuz tokijin said a few pages back thats he not sure if it works on v1-3. anyone kno if this tru?? dont wanna waste money btw these forums have been so much help
