u will need a pioneer 108
dvd dycrypter
tdk -rs (only because thay work 4 me)
the oringinal game.
to play the game
mod chip with boot disks if needed
or slide card with boot disk

As for media (verbatim, sony, maxell, memorex, and tdk)
I have an LG Burner its really good but you can purchase any burner as long as it allows you to back up your games on plus(+)and minus(-)media

ive got alchole 120 but my decripter says its got no source can u help or put a step by step guide on how to do this

Hi mh
All you need is DVD Decrypter to read and write PS2 DVD based games and something like CD Clone or CDRWin to read the CD based games then burn them through DVD Decrypter.There a Thread on After Dawn how to use them m8.put it this way if i can use them you can lol

Have u guyz ever heard of UltraISO i have been using it for a while. it's very good.
Don't get me wrong i still use DVD Decrypter.
the only advantage is tht u can convert image files
and it can read a lot more image files.
So if u ever get stuck give it a try.
basicly ultraISO would be my second choice

first if u can tell me exactly what is burn a cd, and second how can i download a ps2 game from emule and play it in the console, i have tried but i cant, it will be cool if u can respond this

burn cd is an empty cd that u copy data,video, or audio onto, using cd rom burner or dvd burner.

You can copy PS2 games and play them on your PS2 without a MODCHIP all you need is CLONECD

I think the member named "?????" should be BANNED by a moderator by what he said......, and ????? some people want to burn the games for BACKUP of there origional game because they have children and they dont want them to become wrecked........ so STFU u "FUK HED" (nice spelling)

Sup Everyone,
Uhm simple question when u guys talk about backing up the ps2 games, do u guys also mean that teir playable or jsut a srtaight copy of the game, i know i need the swap or chip i have swap. i just wanna know so that i can makle some copys of my games and know that they will actually be playable and not just a cd full of the data on the game. thnx
